The inarguable fact of the matter is that these are two of the best Pokemon games ever made. They're challenging, well-written, full of unforgettable characters, and still manage to have replayability despite the small number of usable Pokemon.
How come Pokemon fans don't want these games remade, but still demand Sinnoh remakes knowing very well that a lot of what made Diamond/Pearl/Platinum memorable will be removed?
The inarguable fact of the matter is that these are two of the best Pokemon games ever made. They're challenging...
Who said they shouldn't be remade?
Who said I wanted DP remakes?
Why is the cover censored?
What is being covered up?
Because pokemon fans are just wallets to Nintendo, there isn't really any reason to try when you'll win big bucks anyway
These games were boring
Didn't Gamefreal fuck over Genius Senority?
>tfw no Colosseum on the Battle Revolution engine
oh well
The full name is Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness. People used to act triggered over it the censored text that it's become a meme on itself to pretend to be triggered, thus derailing threads.
They were too short and had a very limited number of pokemon iirc
What was the name of the second game again?
They did. In fact, Battle Revolution was supposed to be a third Orre game, until Game Freak put a moratorium on it and completely absorbed them into their company. Game Freak doesn't want companies making better Pokemon games than they do out of fear of replacement.
>XD
Kys Reddit fag scum
>People mad at Dexit
>Not mad that Colosseum had like 50 catchable Pokemon.
>to nintendo
pokemon company is not nintendo.
nintendo is bad for different reasonsbut at least theyre shipping functional quality games. swsh is a disgrace
XD actually improved upon many of the issues in Colloseum.
Both games just assume you have a link cable and copies of 3rd gen mainline Pokémon games. You can only trade Pokémon from your XD/Colosseum game to a GBA game, and viceversa, after beating the game.
However the functionality of the Stadium games of just connecting and battling is there from the get go.
That made sense though. Ingame, wild pokemon are rare and you only get pokemon from other trainers. Plus they needed to shill the gba link cable.
>select my attacks for that turn
>take a piss
>come back
>attack animations still aren't finished
Why is every Pokemon game like this?
I can see double battles being a pain, and that it's annoying that Lanturn, and Castform weren't catchable in either one, but they were good, challenging games.
People were mad at Dexit for a number of reasons, but Colosseum wasn't exactly a mainline game in the first place. But if they pushed another Orre game as being a "main entry" I really wouldn't complain.
it's just these ones
Most of them give you the option to turn animations off at least. It's extra shitty that you can't turn them off in the GameCube ones because it makes Mt Battle 10 times longer than it needs to be.
pokemon colosseum is shit tho
>How come Pokemon fans don't want these games remade
Because its fans have either moved on with life or have realized that modern GameFreak will turn it into a safe shitshow of a game.
Would you trust Genius Sonority to make the next mainline Pokemon over GameFreak?
If they were still around, I absolutely would.
Fuck yeah I would. Their soundtrack team were also better.
Even when the animations are off, there's still a lot of waiting. I don't understand the purpose of it. Is it to artificially inflate the time it takes to complete the game?
They'd make a better game than GF but it probably be very safe still when Pokemon is in need of something new.
They're unique and I loved them, but normalfags prefer their shit-tier baby formula that's been regurgitated since gen1.
I still have my XD GC copy.
Its just those 2 for the most part
By far the slowest fucking pokemon games ever. They'd be a solid 7/10 rpg if not for that bullshit.
A few years ago VGC would use a flat 15 minute timer per game and a good chunk of it would get taken up by mega evolutions and primal reversions just because their animations were so long.
"Pokemon fans" never played them, thats why there is no one clamoring for their remakes anymore. Everyone who played them realizes Pkmn is a lost cause and dropped the series after XY/ORAS/SuMo/SwSh
BW2 were the last good games.
Colosseum and Gale of Darkness had the missing Pokemon that weren't available in RS and FRLG.
