What are some of the biggest cases of false advertising in Zig Forums related content?

DKC said it had 100 levels, it has 25
where it said so? and where do you get 25? isn't it more like 40
oh wait actually dig up the box from closet. it does say over 100 levels. probably counts the bonus levels as actual levels
This taught me to never, ever be hyped about anything ever again.
post proof
>A Leeroy fucking reference more than a decade past its prime
Why did they do it
nevermind, looked it up myself. I think they counted the screens where you talk to cranky kong and all the other little bullshit to pad that number.
This trailer is so fucking good, man. I was never the same after I played it though. It was a rough time
well gonna post anyway
Because people will eat it up
How embarrassing.
I almost bought it based off the gameplay trailer
Zig Forums doesn't talk about the REAL reactions to the game. After 80 hours of playing, I finally beat Skullface. Only to see credits before a Chapter 2 preview started. The level of agony/anticipation was through the roof. "You mean, what I thought was the entire game, was only the first chapter?!"
Sold itself as an Empire story, but less than half way through the game they become rebels.
out of touch boomers
The game claimed these were complete new missions, but they were ported from the main game.
I liked it and got mostly what I expected from it, but that's probably because I dropped it after Chapter 1 when I heard Chapter 2 is just backtracking through the first 2 maps.
>The Easterfinity Eggs
Online multiplayer included! Online multiplayer not included.
The entire bounty system being hidden, and it having to be hidden as part of the TOS is retarded and borderline false advertising.
I love how Seth actively tried to make Family Guy as bad and mean-spirited as possible because he was just done with it, but the ratings kept climbing and he kept getting seasons.
Explain.
>Poster shows various characters included in a Fighting game who were playable in previous games
>Most of them are assist characters
This hurt as a Cyclops fan
Streamers take bounties offered by Twitch through giant publishers. These bounties offer them money depending on how many viewers they have. It's against the Twitch TOS to talk about the bounties, but they've leaked time and time again.
>Seth left american dad
>show suddenly got decent
>Seth left family guy
>it slowly became decent
How's his star trek show going anyway? The new orleans?
Probably Battle for Azaroth is the most recent one. It was billed as a big climatic end to the faction war with grey morality and lots of shocking twists. It would be a Horde vs. Alliance expansion. Reality was entirely the opposite and the HvA stuff was mostly set dressing and even in the faction leveling zones a lot of the events were self-contained and not related to the war. Then there was no grey morality, there was good horde and bad horde and just alliance. Nothing past Tree burning was shocking which you can see because it's the only significant buzz the expansion got besides completely broken power scaling where rng could literally quadruple your damage. It was also significantly less content than Legion despite all the "features" being added.
yeah cuz ROGUUU is so funny! also excessive violence isnt funny America.
>roll is the only person looking at the camera
Cheeky little bitch
what the fuck did you do for 80 hours before chapter 2?
youtube.com
This trailer had me so fucking excited. I thought this was actually going to be a Zelda game. Then I got it at launch, played it, and realized that the trailer is the entire fucking story and there's nothing else. They tricked me into playing an Ubishit clone because I thought it'd be Zelda.
>hype up a fight between Master Chief and... some guy
I still don't know what they were thinking with Halo 5's story or Locke as a character.
>zelda
>story
who gives a fuck lol they've never been good, just there
How do you user's even hype yourself up before the piece of media is released? Almost everything is worse then what I want or expect based on early trailers that I can never get hyped for anything again
>being hyped for a Switch game based on a bad zombie movie
You did this to yourself
I remember a lot of "That's It" hours before release when Medic boss was fully confirmed and not just basically confirmed. I do remember before then people were stating Kojima as this wild genius story teller that lived on making ruse-cruise advertising to trick you into believing something that was wrong.
Then there was extreme disappointment when Chapter 2 was just horribly reused missions, fragments of story that wasn't good, images of challenge modes and difficulty selection that was never to be. Also a lot of salt that S rank stood for speed rather than stealth.
People also were very miffed about the open world being essentially bland and pointless.
>Yes.
>Yes.
>Yes.
American Dad is stillconsistently good and funny, I would rather watch it than newer episodes of Simpsons, South Park and Family Guy.
Was this some sort of paid promotion or did the family guy crew did it just for the lulz
Probably fucking around? I had plenty of fun throwing drugged child soldiers off high buildings (they woke immediately after releasing them and began screaming all the way to the bottom).
