Eh, I'm never one to accept the argument that "just get a red" is entirely consistent. Though we can toss in brainstalks into here as well, so it's probably not that bad to get. For what it's worth, with attack speed items (which unlike reds are incredibly common) I've never found an issue heavily abusing afterburners or brainstalks on charged gauntlet. Granted it does take a bit more management than thunder, so if you don't want to kill your fingers after several hours of it I can understand that much.
Yeah, trying to pogo off the top of imps is much safer when using thunder, I have noticed as much. It's much easier to handle with a backup mags at your disposal as well. It's definitely not a guaranteed thing at the same time though, since I've had it backfire a couple times on me though. Something I have found myself doing at times is grappling something behind the imp, and maintaining the grapple so I can shift and then get pulled away after.
The slope glitch is something that seems a bit too inconsistent for me to pull off, considering that loader's grapple seems to have an equal chance of simply getting stuck on inclines as much as it can boost you off them. Maybe it's something I need to practice with, shrug.

Well, all I really wanted to say is that I tend to play loader with both gauntlets with different playstyles, I don't feel like one entirely outclasses the other at least to the degree you seem to believe. With Thunder I prefer a more aggressive stay grappled and m1 approach to build shield. Shield tanking obviously falls off later on, so I feel more comfortable with charged when it gets past a couple loops and you can no longer stay in as much. I'll be fair and say that Charged does have a failing though, when you impact with something the tiny "pause" you get in movement absolutely can get you killed, especially if you're punching through a crowd of 30 enemies.

Have they cancelled 2 and just decided to make a better 2d game instead of that horribly broken and fucked up 3d abomination yet?

does anyone play the first game still

...

Baroness bike gets a small hover so you don't have to constantly dismount because of a small 2px gap when?
Nucleator's V rework when?

We're probably getting two characters. The captain and a secret one that you unlock by getting all the lunar items that change your abilities

What would you like for nucleator's V?

>it'll be great
>it'll be cripplingly disappointing
>it'll be ok and need post launch content to further improve it, following the pattern of every triple A game that cuts huge chunks of content to package and sell separate as DLC

Something that plays more into the self-damage theme I guess.
A lot of the times you don't even use the big charge on m1 because it has less range. The DoT on V is nice, but it ticks so slowly I normally kill things before it really does that much. Really all V currently does for me is make it so I don't take damage when I do want to overcharge.
A) That's not that often, especially since if you time it right you can get the big bolt without overcharging.
B) It kind of invalidates his defining feature,
I'd rather see something that scales with lower HP or something.
Maybe uninspired, but he could go nuclear with an AoE around him or something. Iunno.
