It's hard enough to get the Super Emeralds on 3&K, since the later emerald stages are bullshit iirc, so good luck getting 14 emeralds in around 4-5 stages with no saving.

Don't play Sonic and Knuckles by itself. Sonic 3 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles has a save feature but Sonic and Knuckles doesn't.
It's an older game so 100%ing it doesn't really mean anything. I guess the closest you'd get is beating Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles stories with all the chaos emeralds and super emeralds collected, which isn't hard.

There's no Super Emeralds in Sonic & Knuckles alone you retard.
