Alright, is this game any fun or is this all just hype from people who have a fear of missing out on the "next big game"? I'm considering buying it but 20$ seems pretty steep for what appears to be the same 5 minigames over and over again...
Alright...
Zig Forums server?
>He isn't already part of it
Ngmi
it's entertaining but try not to take it seriously, it has intentionally shit controls
It lives up to the hype. One of the most fun games since Rocket League.
why dont i have my username anymore now its generic man #1003
because people found out you could use html code to change the size of the font and color of your name and instead of fixing it they just censored the names
It's at least five minutes of fun.
Yeah, it alright
it's goofy fun, servers do shit the bed from time to time though.
It just seems like a really gimmicky kind of game to me, like it has one gimmick and that's it. You're a round guy and you run obstacles, there's not much skill in the game, and there's too much unfun random shit in it. This is all from someone who hasn't played the game. But just from watching it, it really doesn't seem that exciting.
Maybe it's fun for the first dozen or so hours, but after that, I don't think you'd ever play it again. I'd probably buy it if it was 5 bucks.
how the fuck do you make a dedicated server for a game like this, maybe it's easier for games like tf2 or csgo where you have community servers
It's fun. $20 is fair I would say. Wait a while and it'll eventually go on sale.
I'm waiting for either a sale or season 2. If they add like 10 more games or at least fix some of the ones they have it looks like it would be worth.
Zig Forumsirgin game
By the time it goes on sale, no one will be playing it. This is flavour of the month stuff here. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but you need to get in now and have your fun or pass up on it altogether.
>it'll eventually go on sale
This game won't go on sale until it's dead, which won't be for at least 2-3 months.
It’s free on PS+ fyi
It was a perfect game to get "free" from PS Plus, but I don't think it's worth buying for $20 on PC. Maybe in the future when it has more content, but like mentioned, then you risk the chance of the playerbase dying. There's just nowhere near enough fucking content, to the point where I went from loving it to already getting tired of it in only like a day. Every team game is fucking shit, as well as shit like tail tag. The b at ones are easily the racing ones, which is what the game is marketed as, but there are only like three of them total. Racing aside, Hex-a-gone is great though and worth a mention, but that's only a single other one.
>literally any time you're put on yellow team in a three-team game you lose because the entire community decided to just randomly always attack yellow.
Fuck this
Fishtank is the best cosmetic they've released to far. Big Daddy bean is lovely, can't wait for heavy pants to match it.
yellowniggers need to know their place.
>Door-rush level
>100% luck based
>Character flails around like a retard for no reason
>Entire server bottlenecks at the very first sight of a door being knocked over
Fuck that mode. Fuck the seesaw mode as well.
>royal fumble
>20s
>9 mile latency tail grab
>lose
everytime
its fun
so basically to get a crown
1) first game cannot be See Saw
2) you can never be on Yellow Team unless it is Fall Ball
3) If on Fall Ball, no golden eggs spawn and teams are even
4) If you are on Hex-A-Gone you have enough hexagons around you at the start
5) if you end up on Fall Mountain you never get hit by an RNG ball and are in the front row
6) if you end up in Royal Fumble everyone else has a lower latency than you
>42 crowns
Why are you faggots not hacking? the game is so much fucking fun with speed/dive hacks
Is it just cheat engine?
>See Saw is hard
where is this meme coming from?
So what's it like with zero wins.
sucks.
>fall crown with FOUR rows
>FOUR
>FUCKING
>ROWS
I just sat at the start and thought about what to have for lunch tomorrow
I win as yellow all the time git gud
Should've pushed more people off Slime Climb my friend.
I would have if it popped up
What maps did you get?
>another Royal Fumble event lost because the game refuses to grab tails
Holy shit, I would actually prefer Fall Mountain to appear at this point.
the sooner you accept wins are severely influenced by luck the better you'll feel
>soccer
>16-0
Fuck me, this is how the Brazilians felt.
Door dash, the spinning jump stick one, memory puzzle, and team tail
>most hyped for hexagone
>not gotten it once
but please, let me play the ball rolling games 1000x
>block party
>some fag bumps into me while I'm jumping
>get stunned for two decades
>swept up by the incoming block
i have a headache now
When it's an obvious stomp against me I just start helping the other team get more goals to feel less bad about it.
Yeah, the game can be really maddening if you approach it with a too competitive mentality and blame yourself for every loss. Sure, skill and tactics give you a very good chance of getting to finale almost every time, but sometimes you just get fucked and can’t really do much about it.
>play the one with hidden path among falling tiles, get shoved down because it’s a massive clusterfuck
>fruit chute decides to shit on your face and give you zero room to climb
>the game gives you retards as teammates in a team game
>the door game decides to fuck your life with series of false doors
or
>team game after team game weeds out the good players by sheer chance
win by beating retards
>blame yourself for every loss
nigga I wish most of this was my fault and not just getting fucked over by RNG
I finally have three crowns, should I buy the fish tank helm or wait and hope I can get two more for the jacket head?
>failing at See Saw
>Hex-A-Gone not being pure skill
the difference is that Brazil probably didn't just stop playing and hug after goal 3. also there's a spot you can jump and it should goal every time the ball drops after scoring.
You haven't played the game why do you share your worthless opinion
Yep, that's a good way of looking at it. I still screw up ones I normally finish because of stampedes and trampling, not even including all the team games and grabbing input bullshit.
assuming all players are of equal skill, the one with the most real estate to start in Hex-a-Gone will win. Furthermore if you aren't in the front of See Saw you stand a very real chance of just being dumped off a see saw for daring to get on it.
don't buy it. it's literally all hype. if it comes off PS+ without at least several major content updates it'll die immediately.
I don't think I have ever been disqualified in a first round in 10 hours of play and I don't even end up winning that often, though I tend to get to finals unless I get culled by a team game or meme physics on Tip Toe.
If you don't ace first rounds you're not cut out to win.
People keep saying Block Party is easy. And it is
But the problem with the super easy ones is that it's easy for it to turn into a massive clusterfuck and catch you out with a surprise elimination.
I've never lost as yellow. Maybe you're just bad.
yeah its really easy to use
Do the hotdog helmets give you better physics for hitting fall balls?
It's not going to die immediately but it's probably not going to be this popular for more than a few weeks. The games get pretty repetitive and you start feeling like you just want to get to the final round. Still worth 20 fucking dollars though, just skip a meal or something.
>red and blue work together to make sure you lose, even going so far as to give each other points if it means yellow doesn't get them
>hurr ur bad
yeah okay buddy.
No. The only times costumes affect anything is when they disguise what color team you are on.
according to one of the devs, outfits do not change your hitbox at all.
>tfw garbage at hexagone
>new strat is to just drop 2 or 3 floors at the start and delete as much of the floor as possible
Screw getting the crown, messing with people actually trying their hardest to win is so much more fun
