bump

Overated garbage praised by a generation of kid growing with it.

All it did was ruin a great 2d franchise and potential good titles.

What would be your alternative, if you had decision-making powers? Because as far as I could tell, people were really into the whole three dimensional graphics when the original Play Station came out.

Why are you in my thread?

>great combat that introduced proper traget-lock which even games a generation later were painfully missing (Kingdom Hearts) and all the good games have today
>huge beautiful worlod with different biomes encircling you wherever you go
>mountables
>day and night cycle with NPCs following their routines
>unlike 99% of action adventures and RPGs, it actually has real dungeons with puzzle solving and progression
>the best music ever in a video game, and it's literally even a gameplay device which was creative as fuck for its time
>story is simple but innovative with time travel as well being a gameplay device that changes the whole world

People like you aren't even human. If you aren't just a shitposting toddler or Sony fanboy who never played it, you might as well be a robot.

Based

IDK user, I never played it before and recently tried it as a full on adult. It's actually pretty amazing and I finished it, I haven't had gamer feel like that in years. I can say full heartily that it's a 10/10.

Honestly, he probably doesn't like it because it came out before he was born. A lot of younger people, especially people born in the 2000s (although I'm not generalizing ALL people born in the 2000s as being like this) tend to hate on things that came out before they were born. I've heard kids say they won't listen to any music or watch any movies that came out before 2005, except Lil Jon.

How can people become this autistic? Imagine making the same thread a hundred times for shitposting purposes.

Will you castrate yourself on a stream when I make a video that proves it isn't me?

Don't put this in the same picture with Robocop and Ocarina

Is this shit really cult in the west? I tried to play it three times and three times I couldn’t accept this shitty story about the leftist eco terrorists fighting muh bad ebil corporation.

oot is so fucking good nintendo attempted for a fucking decade to replicate it without success, they always fucked something, if you combined wind waker, skyward sword and twilight princess MAYBE they could make it, but as standalones they have huge gaps

so realistically it will never be topped, nintendo gave up and made botw, a great game that will keep living in Oot's shadow

I think the game is good, but it's folly to imply that it's perfect. In the year 2020, Nintendo should be focused on improving the flaws of this game. For example:

>60 FPS should be the minimum. 20-30 FPS is disgusting and makes any game a movie. It's putrid
>all unskippable cutscenes should be removed. Stop making the series about some cringeworthy anime story, and return it to the storytelling level of Zelda 1
>vastly amp up the difficulty, to where any boss can one shot you if you don't have health upgrades
>make the puzzles a bit harder and requiring more skill

Just for starters.

Based Square.

That's not even the worst thing about it. The whole story is fill of plot holes and for some reason has been called the game that brought rpgs to the west when super mario rpg already did that the previous generation.

I honestly think Wind Waker is up there, it's just beyond words how much Zelda atmosphere it's oozing from the very first second on when hear the intro music throughout the game with a lot of great new gameplay aspects to the final fight.

TP didn't feel like an adventure as much as OoT and WW, though, and then thinks went downhill.

Those are some shallow and relativistic caveats, if anything proving how good it was for its time.

Also the difficulty is underrated, it was just perfect when I played it the last time. Not so easy you could just run through it buttonmashing without looking but also not so hard that it's annoying (except for maybe two occasions if you're new to the game). Zelda becoming piss easy started with Wind Waker.

Yeah basically a monumental leap forward for 3D gaming. Basically setting a new industry standard. Shitting on it just shows that you're a little zoomer baby.

>unskippable cutscenes are good, story is more important than gameplay

Your first 2 statements were so cancerous, I got whiplash from how much better your last 2 were.

Not even that. Even zoomers love Ocarina of Time.

Attached: 1596055941408.png (1102x988, 1.38M)

What is cancerous about wanting a better framerate, so the game doesn't look like a cheap powerpoint presentation? Are you afraid that Nintendo might have to spend a little of their money to optimize it?

Thats late Millennial.

this is the 95 zoomber pretty much

There's nothing wrong with wanting a better framerate. The issue is that 1, you're acting like it's a way bigger deal than it is, and 2, that you'd make an asinine movie game comparison just because of that.
This extends to the other statement which is eseentially "story bad."

Nope. Late millennial is people like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.

>The issue is that 1, you're acting like it's a way bigger deal than it is,
If this was just about one game from 1997, then it wouldn't be such a problem due to technical limitations. However, with the release of games like BOTW and OOT3D, it's now apparent that they purposely target 30 FPS and would rather their games look pretty and have graphics, then have a better framerate. Isn't Nintendo supposed to be above this grafix whore mindset? It's easy to forgive a mistake that they made 20 years ago, but then they keep repeating it, and it becomes an intentional bout of laziness.

>This extends to the other statement which is eseentially "story bad."
Yes, story IS bad. Go watch a movie on the Ps4 if you want, blegh, "story".
