It takes a little while to get into it, but there's easily a couple hundred hours of playtime there, and that's not counting making your own campaigns.

It's not quite as fast or exciting as Advance Wars, but it's not a bad substitute. Absolutely worth the $10 sale price right now. Make sure to download the free expansion as well.

I think there's a limited edition physical version with a map and stuff, but it's probably like $40 or more. If you're worried about hard drive space, the game itself is quite small.
