I used to talk to a guy on IRC with a similar mindset. He'll talk about every new game that came out and how shit games are now days all while the last time he ever played a video game was 15+ years ago.
Its those kind of people that have become so complacent while in reality they're truly depressed and clinging to the one thing that they remembered enjoying before whatever sent them into a downward spiral.
