I'm the guy who bought one last year and I felt that was justified it's a whole year of gaming and after the chink virus with the delay of the ampere cards it was a good call. Not OP but 970 is going to shit the bed when the new microsoft flight sim comes out. I was already hurting in 1440p on some games. Maybe a 980ti is still good. I never owned one but a 1080ti is probably a great value right now for poverty gamers
