Do you have any modern game that became one of your favorites of all time?
Why did vidya became so souless?

ArmA 3
It's obviously flawed and optimized like shit but it makes for a great experience, especially as a medic for me. The community knows it's shit but we play for what it is.
hotline miamis are nice, idk if you guys count them as modern
postal 2 paradise lost was released in 2015 i think, but otoh it's a dlc to an old game
nu-hitmen are great
etc
Days gone unironically
Really loved Sekiro, Disco Elysium, Divinity 2, also really liked The Evil Within 2.
yeah that too, also some of my fav games
Completed Read Dead Redemption 2 yesterday. Absolutely loved it. This board always complains how old=soul new=soulless, but rdr2 truly felt like it had soul. Mission structure was garbage tho, but it's a Rockstar game, can't expect much from their missions.
>Why did vidya became so souless
Wild industrialization. The movies industry had a similar story during 1920-30 era, big corpos flooding the market with uninspired shits.
first borderlands was aight
nothing will ever beat the nostaliga of warcraft 3 custom maps
Ace Combat 7
Gunvolt 2 and Ix are now some of my favorite platformers
While I don't like it as much as Bayonetta, DMC5
Sekiro
Hollow Knight
Underrail, dmc 5, doom eternal
>souless
>using soul meme uironically
Fuck off retard
I'm preemptively saying that Ultrakill will be an all time favorite of mine because I played the demo and it was the most fun I've had playing vidya in forever. Doom Eternal also had its flaws but was a nice, fresh challenge on Nightmare in an industry that has very few genuine challenges left.
I really really like Rain World
Rage 2, cyberpunk kino.
It is just a good all around fps game with plenty of variety.
all the fromsoft games go into instant classic for me
Kenshi
Outer Wilds
Total War Warhammer 1 & 2
What's the time period for "Modern game"? Like, what's the year threshold where it's no longer "modern"?
Id' say anything older than Fortnite and even that is getting retro now but maybe I just played it too much at school lol
Gravity Rush 1 & 2. They were a breath of fresh air in this shit era of gaming, and some of my favorite games ever made.
i still play mordhau, only game in the past 6 years i've put 1k hours in
Hitman games
hollow knight
it is so much better then all these other games i used to play like jazz jack rabbit
Well, Divinity Original Sin 2 would be GOAT for me if it wasn't so crash happy.
Sonic Mania
>Prey 2017 is like a month older than fortnite
fuck.
I really like seeing people who genuinely like vidya drop in and blow the OP the fuck out. People like him need to realize that what they're experiencing is a personal problem and not a flaw in the world.
>Earth Defense Force 5
>Half Life Alyx
>Boneworks
>Yakuza Kiwami 2 (I know this is cheating I don't care)
>BallisticNG
>Supraland
>A Hat in Time
I had to think really fucking hard about this and yet I only produced 7 games that I can think of, that's kinda fucked.
Doom Eternal is my personal game of the year. It's so good, I think I'm actually going to buy it.
I’ve really enjoyed Rising Storm 2: Vietnam since it came out, it’s the PERFECT game for anyone looking to scratch that Vietnam itch. Dying Light is also a solid zombie game and is easily worth the $60 or whatever it’s price. The voice actor for Kyle Crane was awesome too since he voiced some other shit I played and watched
StarSector has become my favorite single palyer game of all time, and I don't say that lightly.
RDR2
RE2 and RE3 Remakes.
MH: World.
Warframe
Yeah, I know I'm based.
Sekiro
