I really don't care for the genre in general but it's a very good semi-survival horror game, though fanboys of the genre call it """"""""""""""""""""""'immersive sim"""""""""""""""""""" which makes me cringe, it's honestly a really fun fps rpg and I think it's balanced and paced wonderfully. The idea of taking anything and everything in the environment and being able to grenade it into resources you want to upgrade your character further is great. The GLOO gun is awesome for letting you be creative and create staircases and platforms for yourself to go where you want. I've replayed it quite a few times and there are new things I uncover each playthrough. Also take up the achievements and try one run Human only and one run Typhon only, consider also if you do play it, start on one of the harder difficulties as normal will be far too easy. If Nightmare is available your first playthrough, do it.

Its a good game, but somehow misses the great game for me, and i love system shock type games.

Its usual you start out a little weak and in mysterious environment. By the end you are laughing at enemies and the story clears up a bit. It got points where decision made by you count.
