Both. Mouse + keyboard or motion controls is for when you wish to make you’re way through professional mode while still feeling like an unstoppable head-shotting killing machine.
Controller is for when you wish to experience the game as the developers intended, with a sense of challenge and all.

Controller. The game doesn't have true freelook outside of aiming, so solely using kbm is a good way to frustrate yourself.

I never found the Red9 stock to be useful. It reduces recoil, not waver, and recoil is a non-issue outside of the TMP.
