I played this game for the first time in about 2013-2014 and this was still one of the most effective, impressive cutscenes I had ever seen in any video game. The use of music in this scene is on another level.

She was a goner from the very beginning. She was exactly the same as the puppet nurses/doctors and infected Cybill. Only difference is she was the last to turn. I sorta wish you could go back into the room and slay her like the rest, but I guess that would change the ending. I guess she just sorta somehow escapes until the ending.

Hint: she's already been infected and is already turning. She's been sucked into the nightmare realm the whole time. And the first game somewhat implise that the puppet nurses/doctors are just as real as everyone else unlike the rest of the monsters and have been infected with a parasite.

It was a kick to the balls at the time but I really liked that silent hill 3 denied you the fan service moment of getting to see Harry alive, it actually justified the grief in the narrative by robbing the player of that reunion.
