The Last Guardian was not good.

Is God of War actually good / get better?

I’ll get a ps4 if I don’t see these games on pc in the next 6 months.

If you were a fan of the previous games and expected more of that GOW 2018 isn't for you.
Honestly the only thing really connecting those games is the fact that Kratos is in them and nothing more. Would have been better If they tried creating a new IP instead if you ask me.

>exclude this good exclusive

Ok
Persona 5 Royal
Nioh 2
Gravity Rush 2

Everyone forgets about Until Dawn even though it was by far the best iteration of that type of game, Telltale and Dontnod games are fucking trash by comparison

>good PS4 exclusives, exclude Bloodborne
that's redundant

I played like 5 hours of it and hated it, and I'm not bothered by cinematic games.
I'm not sure what all the fuss about it is about, the combat was pretty unremarkable throughout the section I played and the character dynamic between Kratos and his son was done better with Joel and Ellie if you want a Sony Father Simulator.

what about the actual story connecting them?

6 is the only one exclusive to PS4, the rest are on ps3
That being said
6
Judgment
Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise

I had never played a GOW game prior. I was aware that 2018 would be a massive departure from conventions, and go for the more "cinematic experience" but even at that the experience just felt extremely lacking.

Pretty much this
I'd put GoW too. It's a good game
Nioh 2 and VIIR for the moment; they'll get ported eventually

gravity rush
god of war
ghost of sushi

Nothing really special.
It's basically kratos in an "isekai" so to speak.
Story of past games doesn't get touched upon much. And when it does they act like the past games's character development didn't happen. It feels like his character development is reset to his his gow 1 state because the devs wanted to show him struggling with it and trying to explain it to his kid.
People call this a movie game and while that isn't completly true since there is some solid gameplay in there(just not the same gameplay as the previous games) you do have to like this sort of "sony" game to be able to get some enjoyment out of it.
Personally I'd say pass on this and pick up GOW 3 on ps4 instead.

Beyond a couple references, nada.

PS4 has the Remastered collection with better localization though.

Persona 5 Royal
Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise
Judgment
