Chie isn't anything like the "Chie" everyone pretends was in P4. Chie is a little bitch who's faking every tomboy character trait for Yukiko's benefit. She's also not any kind of athlete at all unless you count that dumb shit where she wants you to do somersaults in the park or whatever the hell was happening in that retarded grasshopper scene.

Kasumi is more like the tennis girl in P3, just more fleshed out. She's a smart and preppy and humble athlete, which isn't really an archetype any of the games have had in a main role, which is again why the bamboozle that she's actually just another insecure beta girl hiding behind hair so lame.

Except she gets good grades and you're constantly reminded of that and I think I remember some lines that she might've struggled keeping her grades up and keeping in gymnastics shape which also could be a sumire problem that the real kasumi never had

kasumi shows up in flashbacks and in a ghost form, they're identical except the real kasumi is a brunette and was older
though when I say "identical" I mean the real kasumi looks like the fake kasumi with brown hair
sumire herself has her hair down and wears glasses when she isn't pretending to be interesting

I see then, is a shame they just didn't turn Royal into the usual upgrade where Kasumi would be the FeMC.
