Just appreciate it for what it is. No need to get it out so long as it brings good feelings.

>Game about moving on
>Can't move on

am I making a mistake by not taking notes outside the rumor screen

Nope. All the information you'll need can be found on your log. You just need to find it first :^)

It would certainly help. If nothing else I would strongly recommend writing out the coordinates you find in the core of Giant’s Deep

my ancestor :)

Also, no, you don't need to take notes. But do pay attention to your surroundings and apply logical thought while playing or you might get stuck.

You don't need to take notes. Its not La Mulana, you should understand everything by around the 20 hour mark.

>kino banjo starts playing

>you can actually get under the current on giant's deep if you go at at least 10000 m/s
holy shit

Is that?

what? The game automatically saves that for you user. I remember panicking when I got the vessel because I hadn't saved it, but then it just showed up on my screen.

Those are visible the whole time you need to place them

thanks

wouldnt you ricochet from electricity

yeah but you are still under the current

relax everybody, its a fucking walking sim

They're also shown in the rumor map because the screenshot for that information is a screenshot of them.

Oh good i just completed the log last night and I’m attempting the final run after some family stuff this morning. That was my biggest concern remembering what the fuck those shapes are after getting past the fuck you fish

just a tip but the shapes bugged on me once, try putting it in reverse if it doesnt work or just add them again

>Did you know that the Eye of the Universe is older than the universe itself?
YEAH NO SHIT ITS NOT LIKE THIS NOTE ISNT WRITTEN A DOZEN TIMES ON EVERY PLANET FUCK
FUCK I GOT MORE MAD EACH TIME I READ IT
AND IM STILL MAD

A lot of the lore is duplicated so that players will get all the important stuff without needing to explore absolutely everything. That point in particular is the first story hook to get players interested so they made it so you will learn it almost everywhere.
They maybe could've done some complicated system where what lore is in different places changes depending on other things you've read but this is ultimately some college kids first game still.

>get to vessel
>take twenty seconds longer than needed to insert the warp core
>all right, everything is fine, I just have to put the coordinates in now
>insert coordinates
>activate eye thingy
>enter black hole
>it just takes me right outside the ship
>WHAT THE FUCK? AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG?
>spend a dangerous amount of time trying to figure out what is going on
>find out I actually had fucked up one of the coordinates, but fixing it doesn't change the outcome
>try inverting the order, nothing
>pretty sure it's fucking over, I'm gonna die
>try inserting normal coordinates again
>move up the ball that shows up above the control panel after you close it, something I hadn't done before
>It actually takes me to the eye of the universe
lol

that crap is even written in The Vessel, no way you got that far without reading a few notes
they must have thought it was just really that damn cool that all the goblins would just keep writing about it all the time

>kermiepls in chat

Discovering something older than the universe would be one of if not the most significant discoveries of all time of course they'd keep posting about it

>smartest race in the universe
>communicates through repetitive shitposts

They really are just like us

>Wait a sec, are people actually talking about a game they enjoyed?
>Not on my fucking watch
>"The game isn't even good guys" + bad faith trolling
>Haha that'll teach those fucking cunts
