Wonder what weapon they're gonna add in the next dlc.

Then stop bashing your head against it and look at what you can do about it. You don't get good just by doing the same thing over and over again, learn your options, practice them, learn the enemy's options, see what you can do against them.
She’s a fucking nightmare. My biggest piece of advice is being those anti paralysis needles you can still use them after she’s got ya
I'm so lonely bros
deserve it for not releasing on PC

Still the best human fight. Still so disappointed that they came close to fixing the one main issue with human fights in 2 and then completely screwed it up.
Finally beat Nioh 1 after buying on release.
on to the DLCs now.
This nigger is giving me a hell of a time. Half of his attacks one-shot me and he moves so fast. I think I might have to bitch out and play some Way of the Strong to gain enough levels.
Is there an ETA on the next DLC yet?
That's basically what you have to do, or just get used to being frame perfect and stacking buffs and shit.

My PC probably can't run it at 60 so I dunno if I really care, I'm fine playing it on piss4 for now

Yoshitsune
Is this a subtle Saito Chadimitsu complaint?
He has a pretty crippling weakness in that most of his attacks only go forward and he has poor tracking. You fight him basically the same way you fight Onryoki, he's meant to be that sort of wakeup call on the basics. Levels likely won't help that much, the DLCs are real boy hours but that's because you just beat the game and should be able to handle it, so do some soul searching and refinement on the core mechanics. If you want you can inflict Wind on him to curb his damage output as well, he's weak to it.
To an extent, he's where some of the issues are at their most obvious, but he's not the only one that suffers from them, and that's not the only problem either.
You wouldn't, would you?
I see.
I did notice the tracking. but his centipede arm kept hitting me on all the attacks where he turns around. I just can't seem to dodge through it and blocking it is a death sentence.
>might have to bitch out and play some Way of the Strong
History check: that DLC was released when players were generally in WotSt, balanced around that. Saving the DLC for when you're partway through the next difficulty is the intended path, not a bitch move.

>Magara Naotaka
Wouldn't worry too much about it. Hino-Enma felt like a leap in difficulty and it's all downhill from there. Just try to experiment with each stance you'll eventually figure out their intended use. Her moveset punishes you for using dodges incorrectly and it didn't even register until much later in the game for me.

His combos have fairly strict dodge timings in the middle but just make sure you're dodging sideways. His single centipede arm sweep is basically the only option he has for when you're at his side or behind, outside of him just running away until you fight him on later difficulties so focus on that while adjusting to his moves and the dodge timing.
This is incorrect and for lack of a better word, a cope people developed to excuse how they were losing so badly at the one time the game decided to remember how far in people were. The game's own gear levels and mission levels show that it was intended to be balanced around a similar player strength to the very beginning of WotStrong. The reason WotStrong is so much easier is because it's barely changed from WotSamurai, while WotStrong added new enemies to learn and built on the end of the game.
So is 170+20 the highest a weapon can go?
180+20
Why is he such a bastard?
Who at the studio thought that it would be a good idea to give this boss an unavoidable instakill attack that he can trigger at any time with zero wind-up or telegraphing?
If you don't just run away from him every time he activates living weapon you essentially have an invisible diceroll hanging over the fight deciding whether the game will allow you to beat him or not.
become a 3kat chad
Tried this guy a few times before going into way of the strong and my defense seemed insufficient with light armor. My best attempt was trying to burst him down with Living weapon and Kujaku happened to pull fire. Every attack was 80-100% of my health and it didn't feel balanced around my current gear.
I think I just came a little.
Apparently, water shadow also works on Kamaitachi.
I most definitely would
It's so stupid that there's no kind of in-game indicator that tells you what attacks you can or cannot parry.
