realize modern games are awful
looking at my receding hairline in the reflection of the loading screen of a game people half my age play
Fortnight finallly did it for me. That's what solidified me as a boomer
Starting to not follow trends, before I was pretty much up to date with everything new in gamea but the last I've been pretty much out of it, heck I just recently discovered that Fall Guys was popular.
That said, when you don't have to follow every new trend and popular game you can enjoy games.in a more relaxed way.
I've been with every gaming trend ever, but I had no desire to play the battle royale, autochess, and I didn't even jump onto the Fall Guys train.
For someone who has tried everything up until now it feels very uncharacteristically of me. I am not really sad though. I am having plenty of fun with the games I am playing still, but I am realizing that it means I am no longer at the top of the wave.
The MOBA/ASSFAGGOTS craze.
Vtubers.
Resident evil
If you're 30 or less and think it has already happened, then boy, are you in for a surprise.
Season / Battlepasses and the "live service" trend
Dubstep. Fuck dubstep.
didnt this was renamed to just "the boss" or something like that?
I have a problem with Battle Royale games. It's just not a good formula. World needs more competitive stuff that's not littered with scammy bullshit. Even battle passes are shit.
TikTok is definitely up there. Shit is spyware for fuck's sake, you retarded kids.
Is taking testosterone boosters (in very very moderate portions) like aging backwards? Thought i'd try that once i start feeling limp, couple years to go till them however!
The whole twitch thing and everything that came after. Battle Royale, e thots, pozzed vidya, etc
>you retarded kids.
about 80% of what I see from tiktok is shit from late 20's women trying to be cool and hip, ironically
Retarded late 20s kids then. Some people never grow up.
Teleport top in LOL. Back in the day using teleport on top lane was declaring to everyone that you can’t hold the line and that you are going to feed the opponent.
Also, the whole vocabulary being banned in online games nowadays.
My country about to experience a Venezuela/Weimar hyperinflation.
minecraft and I'm 27 ffs.
same
>walk into PC bang after work
>just want to play a few games of lol and wind down
>no pc in rented apartment
> want to avoid roommates wife until his sister arrives
>teens playing fortnite look at me like I am some freak
>worker in his early twenties says he can only give me a computer without fartnight in the back
>some kids whispering to hide the weed its a cop
>I say that i dont play fartnight they look at themselves weirdly
>one looking over my shuolder to see if I will actually play something
>i play some diamond tier ranked
>he elbows others
>old man playing lol good
The only possible way to "age backwards" is to get in shape and fix your diet. If you're already in shape and eat well then sorry, that's as good as it gets.
I haven't played a new game since 2011.
*oomer meme shit past "ok boomer"/zoomer.
>when people are repeting shit that exists because of a butthurt tranny getting wordfiltered on Zig Forums

This. It's obvious nothing will ever top Skyrim.
Youtubers playing vidya. When was it, 5 or 10 years ago?
This probably varies by vtuber, but you would be surprised, a large portion of the fanbase is in their 30s. Is more likely you just got tired of anime, because you were an ironic fag with really shallow taste.
Minecraft going from being a niche game alpha tested by Zig Forumsirgins in the late 2000s to the zoomer game of choice in the early 2010s.
Pretty much the entirety of 2009.
Minecraft isn't just a "zoomer choice" or whatever, it's a genuine cultural phenomenon and the biggest video game to exist so far. Even Fortnite still hasn't caught up with Minecraft and it probably won't anymore.
People watching games instead of playing
It will always be when Fortnite took over. Even though I was only 19 when it became super popular I was too old for it and I didn't feel like getting involved in the battle royale scene.
