>>he actually linked the fire
>he actually linked the fire
Ok but all jokes aside, who the fuck were they?
You're god damn right I did.
>he
Wrong
>he actually did it
why the FUCK were the sneks never expanded on in any of the Souls games other than bullshit "angel" statues?
they are this weird mysterious beings that have existed since the age of grey
They are depicted as angels in ds3 because of the angelic faith, same faith that brought lothric kingdom into a religious civil war
BECOME THE DARK LORD, UNDEAD WARRIOR
>they are this weird mysterious beings that have existed since the age of grey
that much I know, but that's all they give us. No boss fight. No enemies that look similar to them. No area to find them in, etc.
I liked being able to take the flame for myself in Dark Souls 3. Fuck linking the flame. Fuck not linking the flame. I AM THE FLAME
>he actually knows what linking the fire or not linking it does
So did they die before the events of 2 and 3 or something?
Jews
why
not
The snakes are everywhere, and the snakes have influenced everything since before the age of gray
What a fag
Maybe or they're just in a different land. Remember Yuria and conspirators are followers of kaathe.
I know the plots in souls games are ultimately a giant meme, but I was disappointed when Dark Souls 2 came out and it took the easy way out of just doing the whole "muh cycles" thing rather than picking up after the DaS1 chosen undead let the fire die out and became the dark lord, ushering in a new age
probably because fromsoft was threatened to stop redpilling people on the jews, which is exactly what the snakes are supposed to represent
jej
>let's never bring them up again and turn them into angels instead
i mean come the fuck on
The ultimate redpill is to embrace the darkness.
>Fromsoft has the "cycles" of light and darkness
>both are meaningless in the long run as the snakes always benefit
>can be alluded to being in debt
>taking no debt means you won't get ahead in life as fast as others
>taking too much means you'll work your way to the grave
>the only way out is to kill the sneks to stop the perpetual cycle of servitude
I see now why the snek lore wasn't expanded upon. Some of those lessons could have applied to real life and they can't have that.
>the only way out is to kill
that's what it always boils down to
This
Never.
They actually were. The bitch in the lord of hollows endings says kaathe ive failed you if you kill her. Even though i would have liked to see them again that was enough for me
Found the Jew.
my impression is that leaving the fire out was the better, intended, more fitting ending. bringing in a new age instead of just prolonging one
aren't they just unevolved dragons?
This pic is of the flying serpents in dark souls 3 and pretty much just look like the serpents managed to grow wings
that's not lore though. That's just mentioning the snake. We still know nothing about them. Where they're from. What they're responsible for. Why they're so hell bent on getting you to either link the flame or push for darkness. Are frampt and kaathe 2 heads of the same snake? Who are all the other snakes at the end of DaS1?
