There was a thread yesterday about someone on jeuxvideo calling Min Min in February, before the Arms character announcement, and saying 2B, Phoenix Right, and a Level5 character are in. I didn't look into it at all though; it could just have been a retro active edit or something.

I'm still on the idea that they're combining what they have left for E3 and what they were planning to reveal in a Fall Direct so they can only worry about one large Direct instead of two
The partner showcases essentially trimming the fat so the total Direct wouldn't be too long
At this point, taking into account both partner directs, Min Min's reveal, TOK, Animal Crossing DLC, and Pikmin 3 DX the length of a combined Direct with all that stuff removed would be about 40-50 minutes

It'll be a PIKMIN 3 direct with a mention of Pokemon dlc and that's it. Enjoy the holiday!

Many leakers were unsure of Star Fox Grand Prix but everyone (Jason Schreier too!) agrees the Mario Collection is real.

The Game Boy would have a similar problem with Link's Awakening and Pokemon.
