that song was racist as fuck... how did bethedsa get away with it?
radio is one of the worst things in this game the selection sucks and is too limited and you want to kill yourself after hearing the same 50s song about bombs
have you ever seen congolese people? They still carry spears and wear bones as jewelry
> Female sole survivor
You should get cancer and die, tranny.
>people
It was a different time.
>2070s when the bombs fell
>divergence occurred at some point in the 1950s/late 40s
>many of the real songs would probably have been released at their usual times
>still have recordings of them to play on various radio stations in game
These songs were 100+ years old when the bombs fell. Was there some huge cultural shift in the 2070s that made people want to listen to such old music? Why would recordings be around for radio stations to play if that isn't the case? Surely there was new music made between 1950 and the 2070s...
You shit up Fallout threads just as much as any tranny, stereotypical obnoxious gay guy.
Its literally a song about how modern life sucks and how carefree native life is
>Scanning...identify confirmed.
>Surely there was new music made between 1950 and the 2070s
According to fallout lore, no there wasnt.
Ever watch a movie set in the future? What kind of music are they playing? Probably techno, electronica or something similar. Those music genres have been around for decades. The fact is that we just can't fathom what kind of music will be listened to in the future, so we substitute something contemporary that we can wrap our heads around.
Fallout is supposed to be a vision of what the average layperson from mid-century America might imagine a horrific future to be like. Just like in the above example, they couldn't conceive of massive changes to cultural anchors like art and music. So these aspects remain unevolved in the world of Fallout.
The radio is not really meant to be playing music that's 300+ years old. It's meant to be representative of the type of music that people in the 1950s thought would remain popular forever.
what was the point of customizing the face of the partner if you won't see him/her after the intro mission?
so that we can surgically modify Curie's synth face without her knowledge to look like her
I don't think they expected you to. Although, when the game came out, did anybody know the spouse of the MC would get killed off right at the start?
I think most people picked an MC and customized them and left the spouse alone.
Just seems weird to think about. Especially weird to think there was no strong anti-war movement in that timeline like their was in our timeline in the 60s/70s. The graffiti on the BoS bunkers in NV seems to indicate there was some push-back to the military/war economy. And with that, there would surely have been some counter culture music going on.
But perhaps it comes down to survivor bias. The old recordings they can find in the 2200s are old shit from the 50s because those were kept safe and put away in the 2070s while new music was played over the radio. I'm probably putting way too much thought into it though, and giving bethesda way too much credit...
Unless I'm remembering wrong, Shaun's appearance is at least somewhat derived from your settings for both parents.
yes
Shaun's appearance can be completely broken depending on your settings, and when I used the skeleton mod he didn't have any goddamn eyes.
They both put too much and not enough work into how much he looks like both parents.
There is only one song on that station that I like at all. The music selection on Diamond City radio is abysmally bad.

The classical station is great though.

Is new Vegas going to be fun to someone who has never played it? I thoroughly enjoyed Morrowind back in the day if it means anything.
>he didn't more time creating his perfect ambiguously brown waifu than creating his own character
New Vegas is worth playing
The Bethesda Fallouts and post-Morrowind TES are also worth checking out and giving an unbiased shot, as much as some people try to paint them as worthless... but FNV is better than all of them.
This is why I prefer Obsidian who include LGBT representation in games, possibly the first ones to do so with New Vegas and also cutting out the racist crap.
>nothing to report, ma'am
>toilet armor
What were they thinking
>Post morrowind
Everyone laugh at this retard.
kek
>retards rather live in wooden shacks
Is FO4 VR worth playing?
