What a great time to build/upgrade your gaming rig at the end of this year.
Ultimate gaming setup
Good luck finding an RTX 3000 card this year after launch.
still using my 580 why would i want to pay more money for less vram?
That was my plan, I just hope they release enough cards.
:(
>he thinks vram means anything at all
>he doesn't know about the 160+ fps at 4k in modern games with a "mere 10gb" vram
lmao
Only idiots would upgrade now instead of 2022:
- 4K 144Hz monitors with display port 2.0 actually released and at a decent price
- 5nm RDNA 3 or 5nm RTX 4000 series with actual display port 2.0
- 5nm Zen 4 Ryzen 5000 series
- DDR5 RAM hits the market
- next gen SSDs hit the market that obliterate PS5 SSD at a decent price
Only idiots would upgrade in 2022 and not 2024.
I'll upgrade in 2022 too after selling my stuff
I cant wait any longer bro.. It's been9 years since my 2600k...
Sirs I can honestly tell you the INTEL procesor is beter for performent in game
Plese Sirs do the needful but the GENUINE INTEL proceser thank
I'm going to have 8 different tabs open ready for the minute it goes on sale
>on x370
Based, bought a B550 Tomahawk last week so I can make the switch to Zen 3. And got a better case for my 3080.
technology evolves so fucking fast that upgrading in 2022 will be seen as a stupid move from a 2024 point of view, so whats the point?
>3080 doesn't support SLI
>3090 does
IMAGINE
I don't think it'll be an issue getting one on day one. Likely completely out of stock well into Q1 2021 after that, though. The hype levels are the highest I've seen since the GTS/GTX 8800.
Everything that user listed is a huge improvement for gaymers, especially ddr5 which will be a huge jump over ddr4.
>gaming rig
>no games
That's a fucking lie and you know it
vram doesnt matter so just buy a 1gb card bro
I'm assembling a team
I see you are retarded.
I'll buy an RTX 3080 and play at 4k/144 fps, thanks.
>tfw got a used i7 4790K today
being a poorfag made me grateful for what i have & get
Ram doesn’t do fucking shit for gaming
Anyone who pushes the "just wait" meme is retarded. The only way to win is to not consoom at all. Why wait for 2022 when you can wait for 2032? Why play video games at all when hardware constantly evolves? You can make another list of benefits in 2022 and tell people to wait until 2024.
>friend buys a 2700x a year or so ago
>he says there are literally games that bottleneck it
>meanwhile my 7th gen i7 has zero issues running anything
AMDkeks...
4K is 100% a meme if you are sitting a normal distance away from your monitor. 1440p is the sweet spot and this will never change until eye augmentation technology becomes available
You said the exact same thing about DDR4 when DDR3 was current gen and DDR4 turned out to be a shitty gimmick to excuse the raising prices
Average consumer doesn't give a flying fuck whether the ram is running on 3600mhz or 2100mhz because there's virtually no difference for gaymers
Is 2022 really the better upgrade vs this year bro’s?
There is no such thing as "better year for upgrade". The only time you should wait for an upgrade, is time like now, with AMD 4000 series and RTX 3000 series being a few months away
How expensive will ddr5 be vs ddr4 when first released. And will it be worth it to get into ddr5 or wait until a few generations before jumping in?
