2nd or 3rd are the best, really nailed the eyes, 1st and 4th make the difference between the light and darker shades not as distinct and so the glare itself isn't as noticeable.

Hey, I like that stuff too, user. I don't know why, but the Higurashi BGs in particular give me immense comfort. Maybe it's because they remind me of my own shitty photos with early digital cameras, I dunno, but I really feel like I'm right there with Ryukishi despite the fucking goofy clump-handed soulful sprites.
