XXL2 is what I'd call one of those licensed games that have no right to be as good as it is. Great game with funky music. 3 was an abortion. I never played 1, is it any good?

Asterix was a great comic,one of the greatest. Sadly, the author died and the original artist did tried to keep doing it... but failed when he got too old and too dumb.
And every adaptation (movie, cartoon, game, you name it) attempted was ultimately a failure.
No derivative work ever did justice to Goscinny´s artistic view, or even Uderzo´s.
It was all... merde.

The animated cartoons were fun tho. We watched it as a kid with French VA and Finnish subs. My grandma had tons of them as VHS in early 2000s when I was around 7 years old oh my God help me

Ok now. Hear me out of this. What if the next game has the Romans actually learning the secret of the potion and Ceaser decides to bathe in it. He becomes roided up and we get a Senator Armstrong like boss fight. Would Zig Forums want?
