And the sky is blue. The grass is green. What is your point, OP?

I mean it makes sense.
Kingdom Hearts 1, 2, BBS, and DDD can run on the Switch, but it can't handle KH3.
Maybe if Nintendo used more powerful hardware then KH3 could run on it.

Well I won't lie, I'm a bit confused as to how PS2/PSP ports would have trouble running on the Switch. I mean the thing obviously isn't a powerhouse, but I feel like that should have been within it's grasp.

I think they're implying that KH 1.5 & 2.5 HD can't run on Switch

Processor power.

Probably also due to the system architecture of the Switch.

I HAD THREE SQUARE MEALS IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN

This. The coding needed to make something operate on the Switch isn't as simple as "If Player = X" or C# or anything else. The amount of AI control, the revenge system. Unless in-house development does it, it'll shit the bed.

>witcher and DOOM can run on the switch
>KH 1.5 x 2.5 can't
was it autism?

Also, the Switch is a handheld system, the versions of Kingdom Hearts released for handheld systems are watered down versions.

Also the Collections did shit themselves when they came to PS4 because they output at 60fps and the AI was moving too fast. A Day 1 patch had to be brought out. Imagine what'd happen on the Switch. It'll be released on PC before it ever gets a Switch port. Screenshot me.

it could run on switch, it's just a pain in the ass to port ps2 games to ARM.

>Western games can be ported to anything
>Japanese games can't, most of the time
Japan still uses spaghetti coding for the most part, such as Pokémon. It's all built on math which means you need mathematicians to edit the fucking code so it doesn't shit itself.

Did you ever wonder why the Azure Flute is included in EVERY Pokémon game from DPPt onward but NEVER used? They literally CAN'T remove it. It's part of the code. Japanese developers build shit out of math and it hinders a lot of game.

I'm just wondering if they'll ever port to PC.

Technology is difficult for the Japanese.

Porting one and two would be just as easy as porting ffx/x-2 which they already did, Nomura is just being his typical lazy hack self

based nvidia tegra processor

Okay, so they mentioned that Switch ports would be hard, but what about PC? Don't give me this, "uhh pc aint worth it" shit that Snoy say. The whole series is on Xbone, and EVERYTHING is more profitable than Xbone.
It would be a pain, but it would make them a lot of money. Shit, they'd make more of a profit off of Switch ports than Xbox ports.

>They literally invented modern consoles
But okay I guess. Too smart for them.

Ur an actual retard if ur implying the switch has less processing power than a PS2 or a fucking PSP

>It'll be released on PC before it ever gets a Switch port.
I mean it got an Xbox port, so thst makes sense.

>The switch is an unpowered piece of shit

In other news, water is wet

>Japanese developers build shit out of math
Math is fucking based though. It explains why Jap games are so good.

Did you even read through this thread before posting? Or do you think the Switch can't run PS2 and PSP games?

You don't move around in battle in X/X-2, it's literally turn based. In Kingdom hearts, you and 15 other objects are flying about like mosquitos.

What a fucking wet fart of a comparison.
>THEY PORTED OTHER PS2 SQUARE ENIX THING SO UH! HIM JUST LAZY!
X/X-2 and Kingdom Hearts don't even run on the same fucking code or engine.

They're leagues apart in Code too. Kingdom Hearts' code is more like XV's code, whereas XIII and X have similar code in them.

Man I hope not

1 and 2 Final Mixes are the only games worth playing in the series and those could easily run on Switch. Just port those.

Fuck off Eric.

Yes and No. It can be exploited to fuck.

Ironic, isn't it nincels

everyone who defends this only defends the laziness of the developers

>Did you ever wonder why the Azure Flute is included in EVERY Pokémon game from DPPt onward but NEVER used
Now I'm intrigued. I do not know about this.

Damn
Portable kh1 woulda been so fucking sick

>Switch can't run a PS2 game at 60 FPS

I find this hard to believe.

I don't think it's fair to use Game Freak as an example for all Japanese developers.

Basically, it's called spaghetti coding. You can't remove or add something without the code shitting itself so you have to add extra padding code to stop that, but it's all built out of A3 BB 4£ 3D lines of code, like that. Instead of building it out of codes like [spawn_object if = player wounded] stuff like that. So because Pokémon was built out of this code to fit it onto a GB Cartridge, GF just never stopped using code like that. Fast forward to Gen 4 and the Azure flute exists but is never used, they literally can't take it out without rebuilding the entire code piece by piece. The effort. So they just leave it in.

>its a "Zig Forums cant into reading comprehension" episode

They're literally saying that they're just too lazy.

Okay, Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy. They run on math too.

Why not put them on PC then? I'd estimate 2/3rds of Switch owners has at least one other system from the other competitors, no telling how many besides me also has a Gaming PC though

AHAHAHAHAHA SWITCH CAN'T HANDLE A PS2 GAME

>15 objects

Wow that's such a large ammount of objects moving in the screen, I don't think games like doom, the Witcher, Botw, Wolfenstein, Borderlands, Bioshock, Assassin's creed, Hellblade, etc... could ever be as CPU/GPU demanding as kh1.5hd for the ps3
