WoD was fucked because it was unfinished / rushed.
BfA was finished and it being completely fucked was caused by years of deliberate design decisions that Blizz thought were great.
That's why BfA is worse.

Warlords was a bit boring since they were rushed and left a lot of things unfinished.
BFA tries to get you to log in every day to grind shit else you fall behind, along with having some of the worst design decisions ever made in WoW. The cooldown GCD changes were pants on head retarded.

I got more enjoyment out of BFA than I did WoD funnily enough. BFA was salvagable up until 8.2. From that point it truly became irredeemable garbage.

WoD had way better raids and pvp, but since I rarely pvp the only thing I really did in WoD was raidlogin, and mostly ignored the Garrison system. Leveling and most class gameplay was better as well. But BFA had more stuff to do, mostly thanks to mythic+, so I might actually prefer BFA.
