Unironically there was tons of shit in the original game I never figured out when I played as a kid.

I never found the secret slide in TTM. I never fought wiggler on THI because I never knew you were supposed to ground pound on top of the lake at the top. There's just tons of shit in this game that's unintuitive. Nintendo was smart to make it so you only needed 70 stars to beat the game.
