I spent most of my time from 5-12 running around outside pretend to be a Jedi, and I'm still here in front of a screen. And by most of my time, I mean that I largely ignored my GBA, GameCube, PS2, and Xbox throughout those years just so I could run around outside with a $8 plastic lightsaber (like the ones on the left of the tape).
