It's the closest thing we got from a religion. It's like a sect. If you dare critise their unfinish game you are a heretic a jealous, ablasphemator, a shill to editor. Why are they all like this? Duke Nukem forever took twelfe years to make, It was a mess and nobody was screaming their guts out when people shat over the preview.
Did Chris Robert just created a cult scam?

>Bad

How about you get a life and stop talking about things you could never hope to comprehend?

You're trying too hard

>change the world forever

A fool and his money are easily parted

I bet you still think that Star Citizen is just a videogame.

I paid $30 for SC about eight years ago. There's at least $30 worth of content right now so I'm not dissatisfied. The game will never be "finished" due to the ever expanding scope of the project, but when the core systems are feature complete it will be quite a game. The time it takes to finish will offset the low purchase price in my opinion.

all hail chris roberts the enlightened, citizen o7

omega cope

Can anyone explain to me what the hypothetical final version of Star Citizen is supposed to be, if all of their promises are actually completed? Like is it going to be an MMO? Just Eve Online but with first person controls?

If you even have to ask you were never worthy of it.....

It's just literally a MMO but with a extremely massive space to play in with barely anything to do in every nook and cranny of it.

Basically Microsoft Flight Sim but set in space.

They could never deliver anything and most of the backers that chipped in 300+ million would care at this point. The private investors, however want a return on their 63 million.

CIG is just holding out for the globalist take over. coming soon to a city near you

In the best case scenario, it's a P2W game

I think a better comparison is a giant space version of ARMA, particularly ARMA 3 Life or whatever that roleplay mod people play is. I got interested because of the potential for large-scale sci-fi combined arms combat, at this point I've kinda lost hope though.

like Privateer only modern, dude

That's not a yacht, that's a small boat. You haters get more and more pathetic every day

Maybe he can sell the mess to Microsoft so they can fix his shit again and pretend he made the game years later

No, it's just a tech demo

he's just affinity scamming people
but it's based, since stupid people and their money are soon parted

it's a lag simulator

They've fired a lot of senior staff at CIG in the past couple weeks.

Everything's probably fine....

It's funny how obviously it is catering to those boomer armchair admiral sensibilities to extract as much extra pledge money as possible. A giant ship with 80 fucking crew slots might sound cool on paper and those wannabe space feudal lords will drool all over it, but who are you actually going to get to man your damn ship? Who the fuck wants to be stuck sitting on their ass playing pocket pool in one of those cuck turrets, hoping that a ship worth shooting actually happens to pop up in that limited field of view?

If the game ever actually comes out I'll make an account just to make my way on board one of these ships and blow it the fuck up.

>A giant ship with 80 fucking crew slots
on a 50 player server cap no less

They make and sell ships to make and sell more ships. It's scam with no end.

>There's at least $30 worth of content right now
Spotted the cultist.

It's the same with every community of this kind, with EA where ppl invested money on it.
Try looking on the Scameot unchained forums

Cope, cultist.

When I had to do vocational studies [before going to uni], I met more people who worked middle of the road jobs like manager at a retail store and warehouse workers then at any other point, these where the people buying thousand dollar PCs and ships worth several thousands of dollars in a game that hasn't come out.
Basically it panders to the literal reddit people who live paycheck to paycheck and spend what little savings they have on newest laptops, phones and other nerd/consumer shit - they are also the people who bitch about having no money the most
