Because Intel needs to get their shit together and AMD are the only other ones that make desktop CPUs.

>15-20fps

I mean, in which game?

>DUDE JUST PAY 500% MORE, GIVE ALL OF YOUR INFORMATION TO ISRAEL, AND SET YOUR HOUSE ON FIRE TO GET AN EXTRA 3FPS HAHA

Not today Moshe. Not today.

Its a fad. Intel is tried and true

Some of us come from poor upbringings, and even in adulthood have been conditioned to spend as little money as possible. When 60fps/60hz is the most you've been exposed to, settling for 100fps on a Ryzen is perfectly acceptable.

At a certain framerate, it's literally negligible. If you want to pay more, go ahead. Some people don't and are fine with ballpark framerate and more non-gaming ability.

>i7-2600
>spend most of my time working and watching forensic files
I'd upgrade to see old AMD get their fuckin groove back but i kinda just dont care

Intel has stopped trying a long time ago.

graphics fags care that their game runs at 180fps instead of 177.
thats a big deal for them so they are willing to pay $200 more to get there

>is it because it's cheaper and they don't care about the 15-20fps difference from intel?
That's literally it. Most buyers consider the performance difference to be negligible and would rather save money.

Its funny cause intel is actually getting cheaper now

yes

/thread

Remember to sage shill threads. OP doesn't care about what goes on in this thread, everyone in it bumps his ad to the top of the catalog either way. What you should instead do is make a ryzen thread/intel spite thread to retaliate.

Also don't forget sage.

Because I actually want to buy a CPU from a company that actually cares about pushing the industry forward and giving more value to the consumer. Sure, Ryzen 3000 is still behind in single threaded performance compared to intel, but they are much better engineered CPU's that have (arguably) less nsa backdoors and less security vulnerabilities (fact).

intel has the biggest budget, but got complacent and fell behind. Intel will take 2 years to catch up, but Intel has the best engineers and the biggest budget. Intel will be the leader in the future.

AMD is about to release 4000 series CPU which is rumored to blow away Intel's 10th generation CPUs.

At 3000 series NVIDIA launch, intel has the niche at gaming CPU power, but still loses and price per performance. 1 month after 3000 series, AMD will blow away Intel, which will last for about 2 more years, until intel dumpsters AMD off the desktop PC market and forces their niche to consoles and apple products.

pathetic shill thread lmao

Combination of shitposting, and third world subhumans, nonwhites are the ones that make up most console and brand wars in general.

>actually cares about pushing the industry forward and giving more value to the consumer
>literally next sentence points out they don't push the industry forward and provide less value to the consumer
I dunno, man. This is pretty sus. Think you might be posting some omega cringe yikers XDeezy, knowin I mean, mane?

The cost to performance ratio is fantastic and sticking it to Intel after years of their price gouging is the icing on the cake.

It's price to performance. I don't have so much money that I'm willing to shill out a lot more money for a small performance boost.

I can't hear you over your house burning down, speak up?

>I can't hear you! It's too dark in here!
Right then.

>kicks the fuck out of intel in multithreaded high core performance
>is only slightly behind for gaming purposes
Who cares. Modern video games are shit anyway. I'll take a better engineered 7nm cpu and the productivity performance gains over a overpriced housefire chip any day.

Because AMD processors beat Intel at nearly every price point and absolutely demolish Intel's entire line in multi-threaded applications.
The best Intel has is a slight FPS advantage (5-10fps) at price tags that are 2-3x the competition.
It's just bad value.

I have a 6700k at the moment but I’m going to get a 5950x whenever that comes out as I want those 16 cores

I’m a poorfag and every pc I’ve had uses intel. They’re pretty shit imo

isn't the next gen of Ryzen supposed to completely mitigate the latency that causes the lesser high framerate gaming performance? What will Intelfags focus on then?

Is there anything more virgin that worrying about losing FPS at a rate that neither the human eye nor reaction time will notice?

TL;DR 300 vs 315 FPS? lol virgin

>i7 10700KF supposed to MSRP for a mere $20 more than R7 3700X
>R7 is $40 below MSRP and i7 $80 above MSRP
>despite demand for ryzen being like 4x demand for Intel
what the fuck? Why doesn't intel just get rid of the 10700F and 10700K? They are useless models as anyone not OCing will be using the part in a laptop which are good with iGPUs and anyone OCing is most certainly going to have a dGPU. All they do is take up prodcution capacity that could be used for the 10700 and 10700KF and thus bring more supply in and lower the price of those
