...b-but Zig Forums told me it was a bad game!
Logan Reed
Jayden Wilson
yes it was
Jayden Murphy
Zig Forums was right
Gabriel Carter
A shit souls game is still way better than a lot of games out there and if you could manage the soul memory the pvp is at least really good
Carter Butler
Pretty much this
Just because it is the Worst souls game doesn't make it a bad game. It's still leaps and bounds above most of the Souls-like imitators.
It did a lot of cool unique stuff for the series too and some of the bosses are quite memorable. Area design is cludgy as fuck though and exploration is a big part of what makes souls games good. One of the only reasons I think DaS 3 is better than 2. 1 is still king of the trilogy though.
Asher Wright
For once Zig Forums was right.
Andrew Russell
lmao fucking filtered by the most accessible game in the series
Jaxson Rivera
Yes.
Parker Martinez
>most accessible
What? Dark Souls 2, for better or for worse, is easily the hardest Souls game. That's why it filtered 90% of players.
Anthony Martinez
There's a difference between "bad game" and "the worst souls game".
Jose Allen
Whoever that Zig Forums is, he was right. But then again, you clowns pretend Witcher is a good ARPG so knock yourselves out.
Joseph Baker
>practically infinite healing
How is it the hardest game exactly? I was able to cheese almost every boss by relying on my inexhaustible amount of healing gems.
Only hard parts are Ancient Hitbox Dragon, Horsefuck Valley (which is easy once you know the path) and Fume Knight if you don't destroy all idols.
Noah Jackson
using words like "worst" implies it's bad period
Aiden Powell
THIS
Dylan Sanders
with the dlc it's great, vanilla ds2 is shit
Isaac Miller
>Dark Souls 2, for better or for worse, is easily the hardest Souls game.
Accessible != Easy
The DLC is the hardest in the series and possible late game too. But the early game has so many options of where to go and open to different playstyles, it's very easy to just pick up and play.
Anthony Turner
DLC is just turbo vanilla, polished garbage. It's a miracle we got Shulva out of it, probably one of the few areas that survived from the original DaS2.
Nathaniel Rivera
It's not a bad game, but it has many issues and ends up being the worst souls game.
Matthew Fisher
I played it the day it came out, and yes it is the worst Souls game. Kind of funny that the best game came out right afterwards
Bloodborne > Demons Souls = Sekiro > Dark Souls >>> SOTFS > Dark Souls 3 >>> Dark Souls 2
Cope, seethe, suck my cock, swallow my cum, slit your wrists, beg my forgiveness, perish.
Wyatt Baker
They were right, faggot
Owen White
>garbage opinion
>likes the worst area in the whole game
like clockwork
Gavin Barnes
>nooooooooooooooo where are my infinite poise giant humanoid chokepoints
>is this actual level design? disgusting! I wish the ground was more horizontal and fucking empty
Jeremiah Howard
>actual level design
>lol we watched indiana jones and the last crusade and made a level
Lincoln Long
And even that one is littered with "we have this old asset but no clue what to do with it" shit like that pagan tree or amateurish design like the half a dozen chests next to each other, half of which have the same item, like some cheap mmorpg.
Adam Brooks
>lol we watched indiana jones and the last crusade and made a level
You made it sound even better than it is. What did Tanimura watch to make the rest of the game anyway? Some ground leveling documentary?
William Anderson
Takeshi's Castle and a documentation anout the Winchester Mystery House.
Nolan Wood
>What did Tanimura watch to make the rest of the game anyway?
Empire of Dust
Robert Jackson
it's all shitposting.
Play it, enjoy it, then come back here and shit on it and/or praise it as the best fromsoft game
Sebastian Allen
Have they never fixed the controller deadzone issues? I have to shrink them all the way to make them like Dark Souls 3 and Remastered
Blake Richardson
I think your controller might be shit, I've never had that problem
Zachary Cox
I'm using the xbox one controller and without configuring anything you move like a tank. There are also lots of reports from 2014-2015 about people using DS2fix and getting banned, namely to fix the deadzones so I know I'm not the only one.
Noah Mitchell
No. It's a design choice, enjoy. :^)
