The new consoles will be a god send in this respect, because texture duplication isn't required on SSDs, so games will shrink substantially.

Reminder: This is LITERALLY done on purpose. A larger game is less likely to be uninstalled, and at the same time it makes it more likely that other smaller games will be uninstalled in its place. It's a scummy strategic decision by suits to keep a dedicated playerbase held hostage by their own storage space.

The PS5 has like 650ish GB and the Xbox SEX has around 850ish GB. Call of Duty is going to eat up a third of the PS5's total memory, and it's only getting bigger and bigger every month with constant 20GB updates.
