TES VI should have real time quest urgency

TES VI should have real time quest urgency.
Meaning that if you take a quest to lets say rescue someone, but you just leave it in your quest backlog for later you fail the quest for taking too long.

No

>failing a quest permanently
DONT HIRE THIS MAN

Failing quests is true immersion.

Indeed. Every single game should be like this.

Is it just me who absolutely detests radiant/repeatable quests in games?
I really can't imagine why anyone would want to complete them.

>waah why cant I do everything on a single character

It should do away with quests entirely. Just let me explore the world as I wish without having to worry about keeping track of an overloaded questlog.

>should do things they did in previous titles
Your request is only one of infinitely many. The difference between Daggerfall 1 and Daggerfall 2 is a joke.

You can do that anyways

>set in a universe that hasn't been done to death
>far better writers behind it
>last two games released have been bug free showing the jank obsidian used to have is over
>all that bethesda shit going on
Why would anyone care about TES when Avowed exists?

There should also be good or evil way to complete every single quest. Skyrim was really linear with quests in this regard, the only way to complete them was to be an asshole despite there being obvious good ways you can imagine completing them. Don't call your game an RPG if there are no alternate ways to complete quests that fit the morality of the character you are role playing as.

>the Jarl has put a bounty on these bandits who have taken over a nearby fort! Kill them all to collect a reward!
>go there and storm the fort killing like 8 bandits
>collect reward, 100g
>now i can buy a room in town for the night and some bread
should have put a minimum reward on quests. i felt like it was almost pointless to quest at lower level

>start game
>explore around, enjoying myself
>talk to townsfolk, find quest
>its a chain
>ends with me fighting some god or something holy shit this is a daedric quest!
>reward is a random pair of magic pants that is worse than the one i got from bandits 30 mins ago.
level scaling is bad they should change the way stats work so they need less level scaling or something.

poothesda is really bad at morality

Modern TES is a power fantasy, it's not about roleplaying and making choices anymore but doing every piece of content in an open world game. This would never be included.

lol no Obsidian did not created good game since fallout new vegas and the writing is getting worse and worse

I’m fine with this in games but the game has to warn you especially if it’s inconsistent. Wasteland 3 has one quest like this and it doesn’t tell you it’s time sensitive. You lose a major trading hub with no warning.

>making random quests in a game time sensitive while others aren't
>both quests state they are time sensitive
>no way of knowing if thats just narrative shit or a gameplay system
Literally the worst fucking thing in any game.

>TES VI should do this
>TES VI should do that
It's going to do nothing except disappoint you, you stupid fucker. Have you learned nothing since Skyrim?

>Caring about obsidian after the steaming pile of shit that was Outer Worlds
Do obsidianfags really?

Outer Worlds was fine. It was just far smaller than the hype warrented, it was only made by a few from the team.

>There should also be good or evil way to complete every single quest.
There is no way to do that and actually make the quests decent unless maybe you want like three quests total.
What they need to do is get the fuck rid of the main quest. You sell your games by telling me I can be whoever I want, yet in the first five minutes you're going to heavily imply what race my character should be and what motivations they should have? That's retarded. With no main quest, the roleplaying is immediately improved AND the world can now be filled with more unique sidequests.
And they need to have some limitations on quests so that there's actually a reason to make a new character. You shouldn't be able to be in the fighters guild, and the mages guild, and the leader of the dark brotherhood, and the president of every other group all in one character. Of course, normies would despise that so it'll never happen.

Will it have gay fish though?

I don't know but considering TES is full of gay shit too does it really matter?

YES YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES

Do gay people not matter to you? How dare you make light of my demand

Welp

>trusting obsi*ian
>after "dykes good, corporations bad: the game"

Not all of her snowflakes who can't consume media unless it agrees with their political viewpoints user, some people like seeing all sorts of stories.

>reply Oblivion
>remember to never level up because thats the best tactic
Good game

That is dumb and you should feel bad for having a dumb idea.

i hate zoomers

Yup. Would be nice with some actual choice and consequences too. If I join one guild I’ll be locked out of other as their own story will affect one another. You know, like role playing games should be

They would never in a million years do this, TES is not for you any more

>failing a quest permanently
also, you shouldn't be notified that you failed the quest. you just go there eventually, because it's still in the questlog and realize that everyone is dead already.

>character you are role playing as.
Not an argument since they aimed to remove that element. Less and less character customization options and being able to do everything with a single character make it pretty obvious that they stopped going for the "deep rpg" approach

I'd be fine with it so long as it doesn't affect the major quests, or if it does, then the game takes that into account and the narrative branches based on whether you succeeded or failed. As long as it doesn't feel like an arbitrary timer that shafts you.

That level of basic complexity is not their style. They have to make it obvious. Warnings and quest markers and gps that update constantly. Can’t have exploring and role playing elements in TES are you insane

>are you insane
i want to see some consequences in the choices i make without actually fucking up my life
