>semi auto guns that require rapid button presses
Overlooked vidya sins
Have you ever shot a gun OP?
You don't shoot a gun with a mouse, based retard.
>Game has one save slot
Yeah you can if you really want to
LET'S DO SOME AUDIO SINS
>no disable all, or master volume option
>volume increments by 1, takes 20 seconds a per setting to mute or raise the volume to the level you want
>muting everything works for everything but a few sound effects that play at full blast
>volume guy or crowd shows disapproval at you when you lower the volume
>game audio is muted in settings and is saved as such, but game starts up really loud and has to get past the opening to recall this information and then become silent.
Get it right will you? How do you have the manpower to do all this magical video game shit, and can't get basic sound stuff right?
>no GUNSHOT slider
Having to restart a game each time I change a single setting really grinds my gears.
>open game for first time
>it goes straight into the game without giving you a chance to look at the options
>resolution is wrong
>first impressions of game ruined
Holy fucking shit, this. It seems that a lot of games says hey check your brightness and now FUCKING PLAY dont bother with the 680x480 you will be able to change it in half an hour.
This shit drives me bananas.
>game has long unskippable tutorial that explains the game controls to you like you have never played any games before
>adjust brightness until thing is barely visible
>it's visible at 2/10
>choose that
>you can't see fucking anything in the game
Thanks horror game.
Was just about to post this.
I just leave it at default.
that's the point.
>Melee combat
>Can just hold down attack to keep swinging instead of needing to press for each swing
they always fail in some way, like the pre-rendered videos ignore all audio settings or something. I mostly leave in-game audio alone and set application volume in windows, per game
You should look up what semi-auto means.
>Killing several enemies above your level
>50 xp in total
>Talking to an NPC related to a quest
>500 xp
I fucking hate The Witcher 3
>>semi auto guns that require rapid button presses
this is only bad when people keybind shoot to mouse scroll so it becomes a machine gun with better stats
>settings reset to default every time you exit
But semi automatic means that the gun fires whenever you pull the trigger.
The glock is semi auto
OP, what do you think semi auto means
>rapid-clicking semi auto is superior in every way to full auto
>N round bursts
>Press to grab item, press & hold to grab & equip
>Running out of stamina fills your ears with heavy breathing and blurs the camera to hell
>There's a delay between cocking your weapon and when it's registered as loaded so you gotta wait past the point where you'd THINK it's loaded before it's ACTUALLY loaded
>No multi stage loading so you don't have to do the animation from the start
>Guns with bullet arcs don't give you any sort of indication as to what the damn arc is (this is fine in games with more close quarters fights but in shit where gunfights can be fought from one end of a football field to the other, not having it is bullshit)
>Game has multiple forms of damage over time but little to no distinction between them
>sound options are locked behind an in game item
>rapid-clicking semi auto is only there to prevent high ROF from wasting your ammo
ftfy
>There's a delay between cocking your weapon and when it's registered as loaded so you gotta wait past the point where you'd THINK it's loaded before it's ACTUALLY loaded
I hate this so fucking much. What game was it where the reload animations were in stages? So if you had switched the mag but not pull the charging handle, then switched weapon, when you switched back only the charging handle animation would play.
sandstorm does that. i think someone said cod warzone does it too but ive never played it
Most modern games do that now
csgo doesn't do it but l4d1&2 have a system where bashing/switching weapons plays the reload animation from the point where you stopped.
tfw a game about the zombie apocalypse, infinite ammo pistols, 30-round mags that hold 50/60 bullets and perfect moving accuracy attempts to have more realistic reloads
I'm sorry if it offends anybody, but I really hate seeing black people in video games.
That's not a sin you're just a limp-wristed bitch
doesn't offend me (: in fact i feel the same way unless im shooting them lol (:
i hate any menu that is just a slider where you can type in the exact setting you want, and the slider moves like crazy
Yes, thats what semi-auto means.
>cool weapons can't be upgrades and you need to use weapons you hate to advance in the game
Borderlands and Destiny 2 have no resaons to do that
hated that in uvhm in 2, non-legendary assault rifles and anything bandit was basically unusable
that's what I get for playing on console unable to use the community patch
>escort mission
