It's a video game about a 23 year old woman who was in DELTA and rocks up to an investigation in a beret and shoulder pads armed with a beretta, a knife and no ammo. At night. And your big question is why devs making a game from 1993 onwards were not thinking about the legitimacy of simply using cell phones?

Think again, or rather play again, in Jill's story, go check the room where the self destruct terminal exists after you kill the Tyrant and Wesker "Disappears". You will find him there dead, killed by those insect monsters.
