I can never get my concentration to max unless I'm just farming it off of one lone enemy, so I haven't considered getting it yet. Been focusing on the other Yamato moves and Summon Swords along with some Beowulf stuff. I took way too long to get the other Force Edge combo, guy just goes ham with two swords.

Try him in 3 afterwards. He's not as OP as he was in 4, but he's still a ton of fun with his weapons and teleporting. I'd highly recommending customizing the controls so you can easily combo while using summoned swords since the default controls for that are terrible.

I'm pretty sure just holding down the attack button charges it? Admittedly, can break the flow a bit, but with some of the bosses, you can just do that and pelt them with Summoned Swords whilst they're fucking about away from you, then unleash it.
I recommend the Blistering Swords if you don't have them as well, they use DT, but they make Mephisto and Faust a joke, shred their shadow cloaks.

Oh I assumed you were talking about his ultimate judgement cut instead of the regular one. The second I figured out if you timed it right you could slice through an enemy with the charging yamato slash and then judgement cut 'em I was real happy.

I have a fat thumb, so I always hit the summoned sword button whenever I hit the attack button. Not good for controlling the summoned swords though.

Im currently right after phantom, I know I should just keep on dying and figuring out tactics of different enemies and bosses, but I hate using my gold orbs and Im afraid of experimenting desu plus the clunkier controls and, in many cases the fixed camera angles just fuck me up
whats the secret of getting good at dmc on harder difficulties? is it just jumping around like a retard and enter dt whenever I can?
Im not a huge fan of the first game, I mean even though I suck at it, the one thing I love about it is the combat, but the setting and general mood of the game does absolutely nothing for me, I pretty much only enjoy it when its a combat scenario/boss fight with their themes

I kinda wish Dante's DT activation had the same Explosion that Nero's has.
I get that Nero has it because he has less moves, but it's so hype to pull your DT and send enemies flying.

I'm having a hard time executing neros air infinite
(one attack + rev -> helm splitter ->JC ->repeat). my buttons for attack and jump are on opposite sides, A and Y. Problem could also be that I have to unlearn muscle memory because I more or less yolo'd my way through devil hunter and son of sparda but that's not the point. Got better button layouts?
