Turn based gaming is good for low iq people though, cause you can spend unlimited time making your move.

Don’t argue with an idiot

Is it not for low IQ people? Chess players would be BTFO in an RTS game like Total War.

Trying 7th Dragon III and realizing it was turn based and had random encounters is what immediately made me want to play it all the way through.

Rushing a game for the sake of rushing is the real low IQ game though.

If your best hope for winning is someone else rushing then you are not good at whatever game you think you are.

Furthermore in 3D in particular action based games are terrible in general. The physics will never be right meaning you're good at bad shit which is even lower IQ.

The vast majority of games are turn based because it's better and your seething over that fact doesn't make it not a fact.

Bee Movie is kino, it's the only movie where a woman dumps her boyfriend for a fucking insect.

I still don't get why people are trying to meme that forgettable as hell and mediocre Croods (also Dreamworks) with that "Grug Moment" meme. Like, I saw one shitty Nintendo meme page literal bitch about Steve so hard and then posted a pic of Grug with "finally, a DLC character I care about".

Having unlimited time to make a decision is easy, being able to come up with good enough decision in limited time is hard. If you are able to come up with better decisions in limited time, you are smarter, and the one person who can come up with the best decisions in the limited time is the smartest.

On top of this, deciding when to execute your currently thought of best decision over continuing to plan also requires intelligence.

Whether or not the physics or whatever are bad are irrelevant, since the rules of the game can be learned. On top of this, turn based games rarely have any physics so that's something less to think about, thus requiring less intelligence.

The vast majority of games are turn based because it's easy as hell to make a turn based game. Computer science students do it in the first year of computer science.

Chess is low IQ

Why do they call it turn-based? Because when you see it, you turn 360 degrees and walk away.

But here's a better question, why do you care? How many games out there that actually exist that you won't play because its turn based? It should be easy enough to avoid those types of games to even care about?

>tfw The Origami King
>Puzzle based focus like Chess
>Battle Timer so you have to actually use your brain but don’t stall
>get rewarded for doing it right by letting the battle proceed much quicker because of the attack boost and line ups

By definition, The Origami King’s battle system solves the problem of nuance with Turn based and chess

I care because turn base puts me to sleep due to lack of thought required to play them. I've tried a few games and it's just so boring. They also are very limited in their paths, nothing emergent really comes from turn based games. You're just watching all the set pieces fall neatly in place. You'll never see anything like the backwards long jump from Super Mario 64 in a turn based game.

Based on what?

TURBO CRINGE. CHECK THIS THREEEEEE!!!

It's getting a sequel

>You'll never see anything like the backwards long jump from Super Mario 64 in a turn based game.
What does this even mean? Do you base all your games off of this?

It means the games will play exactly as the developer intended. Nothing emergent will ever come of it. Which means little room for creativity.

Turns have time limit. It's a huge part of the game.

Chess is for pussies. Chess boxing, in the other hand, is the true man choice.
