FighterZ constantly reminds me of how Dragon Ball fucked up horribly with character management. It's really cool to fight stronger fighters with Krillin, Yamcha, Piccolo, and Tien, and feel skilled in doing so. The attempts to give those characters something to do in Super always feel so insincere, like the writers are retching just having to pay them any mind, or they just don't understand what people like about them. They don't actually have to beat the strongest enemies, but there are more interesting things to do with them than what's going on. It's just nice when they have a genuine impact. Even Vegeta is lame as hell for the most part. Goku's best moment in all of Super is going God form against Broly and trying to calm him down.

Casual game for casual fighting players

....Fantasy.

And that's a good thing.

It's because at this point, the power gap is so absurd that any time a non-Saiyan fighter actually does something of relevance, it feels inherently offputting, especially when they go back to immediately being useless next time they get into a fight

Such a good fight, shame it's literally 50 seconds long.

No

More "hardcore" fighting games are boring as shit and the genre peaked at Third Strike.

Well there's also this condescending attitude of keeping them in their power level playpens with the ToP and Moro's goons. ToP is particularly frustrating since Goku, Vegeta, Jiren, Hit, and Toppo could have eliminated literally everyone in except each other in 3 seconds with maybe only Freeza, 17, Gohan, and Dyspo managing to slip by. This despite the show jacking itself off for 30 episodes about the importance of strategy. The gap doesn't need to be wide, it's Dragon Ball, characters can power up.

Don't even get me started on Piccolo being told he couldn't beat fucking Frost holy shit. Fucking Tenshinhan should be able to beat Frost.

They may be boring to you because you are bad and can't grasp advance mechanics.
People like you are the reason sf5 went to shit from 4 you faggot.

>if you don't like it you're bad
This is the worst mentality to have.

>It's good cause it's easy
No bro, you have the worst mentality.

Fighting games aren't difficult, getting good at them to a competitive level is time consuming sure, but really it just takes dedication.
Most of them are horribly made, and a more casual one is always welcome because variety is good.

>best assist in the game
Heh, nothin personnel bardock

>A portion of my enjoyment for games comes from how quotable it is
Am I autistic?

The most horrible ones are the ones that were made for casuals.
It's like you don't play fighting games or haven't been around for decades.

Some of the best ones are the easier to grasp ones, not because of their simplicity but despite them.
FighterZ, MvC 2, MK 9, these are really well made fighters despite how easy they are.

I'm trying to DHC into Beerus lv3, but most times he appears where my first character is. There's a proper motion to track the opponent, or is it a matter of timing?

Mvc is not a simple game nor is the execution simple.
Netherelm games are extremely casual though and made that way on purpose.

Arcsy games usual are complex and have depth but they made fighter z for casuals since there is a popular brand behind it

No.

>Mvc is not a simple game
Stopped reading right there. Christ, dude.
