Hueg had Halo. The game Sony spent a decade trying to mimic and failed each time. Failed so hard they gave up on FPS and went into movie games.

No the ps2 is still the king of most sold consoles ever but the Wii has a solid second place that wont be beaten for a while.

6th was better than 5th. Games were finally out of that awkward first attempts at 3D and more consistently playable. The only failing and I would agree with on is that 2D games kind of became a lost art.

My thoughts exactly. Sony keeps winning, because there is never any real competition for it to compete with.

It'll take a miracle for Sony to win this gen. Xbox isn't slipping, nor is Nintendo.
One of them has to shoot themselves in the foot like they always have, if Sony is to win.
Sony can only win another gen, if Microsoft does something so utterly stupid and out of touch.

But Microsoft is showing, it will not slip up this time. Sony is gonna need to do some work this gen.

This will be Sony's toughest gen, because Microsoft is now tough competition, after 7 years of not being a threat at all.

Metal Gear Solid is literally all of those things. Thats true but it doesnt change the fact that it was an exclusive to stand up to those games.
