He's made every reveal since feel lackluster besides Banjo

Not sure what level of play you consider yourself but Ridley is really fucking good at no-items scrub tier. He's not quite Bowser level of carrying you but he's probably the easiest character to escort people off stage and into the blast zone if you're knowledgable but not skilled. He's just a big hitbox that shits damage, and that flip kick catches people all the time.

I've never had a "Most wanted characters" list, but I always thought it would be great to see K. Rool make a return through Smash Bros. Didn't have much hope for Ultimate because he's practically a forgotten piece of DK history, but here we are.

Never even played any of the DK games but K. Rool has been the best newcomer so far. Fantastic theme, good design, fun gameplay, he's great.

I think K. Rool was my first want as a kid. When I'd read my Melee guide as a kid it just always stood out to me that he was missing. Mario had Bowser, Link had Ganondorf. I guess in my mind at the time Donkey Kong was the most prominent Nintendo franchise after Mario and Zelda so the lack of more DK characters felt upsetting in general. Flash forward a few years and DK has really fallen from grace, but at the time it really did feel like their third most prominent franchise. Losing Rare really hurt DK the most.

I just don't get Waluigifags. The movesets I see are always just spamming spin-off sports shit since that's all Waluigi has but that kind of moveset only proves how boring a character he is. He has nothing that's truly unique to him he only exists so Wario isn't lonely during team-oriented play, and he doesn't even appear in Wario's games. No proposed moveset ever says "Waluigi!" it says "Mario Sports"

Geno, Paper Mario, Toad/Captain Toad. When people make movesets for them they're always representations of the actual character. They can expand on them, they can make something unique that fills a niche the game lacks. Waluigi would just be so boring I hope he never gets in. He's AT-tier at best.
