This is not an MMO, stop crying about Resin and trying to play it like it's an MMO.
It's a co-op chinese take on a JRPG with content updates, it is not a game you play 8 hours a day 365 days a year. Read a book faggot, watch anime, you beat the story so the game is over (for now). Fucking mentally ill freaks.
hey user, if you could write the word "genshin" in whichever thread you make about this shitty video game so i can keep you filtered that would be great, thanks!
I don't understand why people are whining about stuff like resin either. There shouldn't even be anything worth using resin items on currently unless you haven't done the event at all until right by the end.
I'm down for singleplayer games, but if what you're saying is the game is nowhere near done and filled whaling mechanics then why would I download it? Why not wait until it's actually a fun, finished game?
Nicholas Rodriguez
Not him but because it currently has around 30 hours of fun content before hitting a content wall. If it's roughly 15hr/region the next major update will be pretty nice too.
Then why would I play now and then wait until the next content drop just to redownload and play again when I could instead wait until the game is done?
Michael Foster
>I poopsocked the content now im bored shit dev
Thomas Moore
How many of those 30 hours are unskippable cutscenes and lame boss fights like the shitty shooting segment with the dragon near the start? I gave the game a try and the first two hours were unbearable.
Christian White
End game stuff requires resin to recieve the rewards. You get 120 maximum and it refreshes 1 every 8 minutes. Bosses cost 60 resin, domains cost 20. It's typical mobile game stamina to stop you from nolifing the game for the best gear and force you to pay to play the game more if you don't want to wait.
Adam Russell
I picked the Male MC because I'm not gay
Blake Garcia
>Then why would I play now and then wait until the next content drop You miss out on limited content that won't come back for a long time.
Xavier Parker
>How many of those 30 hours are unskippable cutscenes and lame boss fights like the shitty shooting segment with the dragon near the start? 1
Ryan Howard
It's up to you to do what you want user. The game won't be completed for a long while as they're going to add in a region for every element along with various world bosses and stuff.
Isaiah Baker
lame boss fights make ~20 minutes since you are forced to fight the dragon again and the second fight is even worse than the shitty shooter scene. unskippable cutscenes are probably 3 hours, depending if you click through everything quickly
Just starting If I pick the male twin, will it affect my other characters?
Nicholas Brooks
Huh, I picked him, because I'm gay.
Carson Brooks
So then user is full of shit and it actually is like an MMO? I'm just saying. user's acting like it's stupid to critique the content the game provides, but it sounds like the best way to play the game is to not even download the game for a few years.
Like? Klee? The shit coop event? As it stands there is no limited content that's worthwhile unless you are into klee.
Evan Torres
>is to not even download the game for a few years. It's the same mentality as with early access games, you can play it while it's not finished or you can wait half a decade till they finish it.
Ryder Richardson
This game is the equivalent of doing this for fun and not by choice.
It's not the issue that there is a stamina system in the game, its the issue that the amount of content you get out of the stamina spent does not play well with how the rest of the game is designed. Short burst stamina systems works in traditional phone games because by virtue of the types of scenarios where you would find yourself wanting to actually play a game on your phone are also typically short burst. By developing the game with home consoles and PC in mind you create a clash because usually when you sit your ass down to play a game on your console or PC you are looking to have a longer play session than 15 fucking minutes. Stamina system games are developed with the stamina system and the fact that their platform is a phone in mind, Genshin is a game that was designed like a traditional open world RPG and then they just slapped a fucking phone game stamina system on top of it because its clear as day Mihoyo did not have a clear plan on what to make beyond "BotW but more anime"
Dylan Jackson
The difference is that you're actually supporting the developers with an early access game and providing them feedback (usually). In this case you aren't spending money at all to support the game unless you get roped into gambling like a retard and your feedback won't matter, more likely than not. Where an EA game is usually unfinished on a greater level than just content and will continue to evolve, this game is literally just going to add areas and maybe buff/debuff some shit while adding new characters. Gacha games don't radically change character playstyles after you already bought them. This isn't like Hades or something where it's going to be meaningfully different beforehand in a way where you could appreciate that experience.
There's no real reason to actually play this game right now unless you're desperate for an open world game with ARPG combat and don't mind downloading, uninstalling, re-downloading every few months.
Eli Moore
>It's a co-op chinese take on a JRPG It's not anything like a JRPG outside of the anime girls.
