>nah don't fucking buy a $40 headset buy this $200 headphones instead because its better sound quality >literally no difference from my last gaming headset >earpad flakes after uses >That be another 20 rupees+tip to replace those pads :^)
Why is there full of Sennheiser shills on Zig Forums?
I have the HD 4.40 BT. Zero problems whatsoever. Bought it last year in Tokyo while I lived there and have still been using them a year later, I use them in rain too.
Dunno what happened to yours. Should RMA 'em or something.
Oliver Morales
Who buys a $40 headset?
Pretty sure people probably told you to buy a real pair of headphones over some $300 Astro piece of shit
Jace Hernandez
598 are cheap trash garbage shoulda got 600 or 650 and you're prolly plugging it into your mobo you don't even have a schiit stack do you
Alexander Ward
You bought some sort of scam model. Most don't have these shitty flaking pads.
Jason Howard
this, only reason i clicked on the thread
Jace Torres
Wash your fucking hair.
Ethan Martinez
its peeling because your dirty shitskin curry sweat is eating away at it, maybe try being white then it will last longer. faggot
Luke Miller
What headphones should I buy then Zig Forums
Christopher Martin
>rupees
Carson Miller
For me it is AKG K240
Zachary Cruz
I use a pretty cheap pair of headphones for my pc, though i have a pretty great headphones they're old ones for my turntable setup i bought from me uncle
Joshua Hernandez
anything less than 50 dollars
Aiden Morgan
A lot 200 dollar headphones require an amplifier/dedicated soundcard. Most onboard soundcards arent able to power headphones in their optimal quality.
Gabriel Barnes
I got skull candy crushers and I really like them
Justin Ward
>rupees
Jacob Hill
I've stopped listening to /g/ and Zig Forums because both boards are clearly full of retards who don't know what they're talking about and shouldn't be handing out advice.
Jackson Howard
that a gay mode, should have brought 6xx
Jayden Hughes
my sennheisers have velour velvet, and if you weren't plugging into an amp you might as well get some $7 ear buds
Jordan Butler
>most retards on Zig Forums think that plugging an expensive pair of headphones into the back of their shitty stock motherboard soundcard means it's gonna sound better >Not investing in moving the sound source out of the inside of your noisy computer case using a DAC to fully get the most of our your headphones
Retards, it's your own fault
Kevin Martinez
>HD 598 Cs Lmao
Alexander Lee
Wrong. Most motherboards made in the last 5-10 years can easily drive 200ohm headphones.
Carter Gonzalez
If you want build quality, go Beyerdynamic, you could beat someone to death with a pair of dt 770s without breaking them.
Henry Jackson
>use a DAC bro fucking PLACEBO
Jack Turner
Huh? What's an amp?
Owen Garcia
Audiophile autists are the worst. I tried a friend's expensive headset and hardly noticed a difference from a $40 pair I got on an amazon discount for 20. Autists are so easily parted with their money.
Ryder Perry
true wireless earbods, no joke.
Adam Edwards
Depends on which ohm headphones you have.
Jeremiah Barnes
>rupees this isn't zelda you autist
Joshua Scott
598 closed? Are you a fucking retard? Either way, some of the 5 series is best series.
Daniel Wood
>Needing a DAC for a 598 The fuck am I reading
Jaxon Collins
Don't forget the noise reducing crystals and ionizer.
Liam Davis
Hyper X cloud for like 50-60
Colton Johnson
no it doesn't, sound cards are only for those professionally developing music
Charles Rodriguez
Never buy senns they have a proprietary audio jack.
Liam White
Ok fine then, recommend me a pair of headphones, an amp, a proper cable, and some standoffs for said cable.
Zachary Russell
not all mobos are the same. >using a DAC like the one in the motherboard?
Elijah King
They're not the stock pads. Either got real ones or jusy buy the e-bay velours every 12 months.
Lucas Perry
No, always buy Senns, they are nazis(/ourguys/)
Noah Cook
The higher the impedance the better the sound quality. Bit you are right, if its 200Ohm onboard should suffice (mine didn't, was 600 Ohm)
Jonathan Murphy
>amp 598s only have a 50 ohm impedance. Even a phone could power them adequately
Anyway, 598s are great for gaming. I've had my velour pads for over five years and they're fine.
