Reminder that DSP has beat Isshen and (You) have not

Okay can we finally admit that the Vergil fight in V is overrated as fuck? Its LITERALLY just an inferior version of the Vergil fight in 3. Both mechanically and overrall story impact.

Three excellent bosses? Hard to choose. Vergil fight is just incredibly fun and epic. Isshin is a good challenge and an excellent way to conclude Sekiro. Armonstrong has memorable moments, lines and an incredible theme song..

My favourite is vergil

I agree the story impact the fight in 3 had can't be beat but what about it is mechanically inferior? Is it just because he's faster in 3? In 5 he was way more moves in the fight making him more fun to experiment with.

Isshin shits on those jobbers

This was pretty kino

Vergil fight was pure trash. All he does is patterns in which you cant interrupt him. Wait and punish. SO fucking lame.

Judgement cut end in 3 is better than 5 but s a double edged sword for me. It’s hype as hell to see it and is a rush to avoid but because his DT regens his HP the fight can drag on and get annoying on higher difficulties. Summoned swords on DMD were a good way of keeping things fresh but him doing 2/3 JCE’s back to back and regaining so much health can just ruin it.

Can we at least agree Armstrong is the most memorable?

Armstrong is overrated, but he's also the only good boss fight in MGR so it's no surprise people hype him up. Demon of Hatred was a better fight than Isshin.
You're right, but DMC fanbase is beyond delusional.

Those windows of opportunity are only easy to catch in his first phase. As it gets faster in his second and thrid phase those windows become harder to catch. Also there are way more ways to punish him then you probably think, I can't think of much times when I was just waiting there.

He's memorable because he's entirely out of left field, not because of the fight itself.

>That ending sequence where you use all the Legions

Astral Chain was fantastic.

>only good fight
AND IT WILL COME

DMC3 Vergil is only harder, DMC5 Vergil is way more fun to fight

Ludwig from Bloodborne

>final DMC3 Vergil

Yeah I sure love spamming Starfall JC and abusing Royal Guard since his health regen in DT and damage output is absolutely ridiculous. DMC5 Vergil might be slightly too passive but at least you can actually have fun with the fight

Armstrong is over rated, not even the best boss in the game

>tfw level 99 on Proud and still seething at this fight

Yeah, this. I really enjoyed Orphan, Ludwig 2, Slave Knight, Artorias. Though something about the raw one on one with Gwyn(without shield spam) and the setting made it bonerific.

The only thing closest to matching that feeling was maria.

armstrong was right though, raiden has always killed the wrong people.

Just dropping in to say Jergingha.
Alright fags, I’m out.
