I am excited for this game and will probably buy it and learn the game with other anons, are you guys excited too?
Guilty Gear Strive
Actually, I will play Fantavision instead.
I hope they will give the UI some more polish and that they'll restore some more freedom to the gatlings. (If my boy Chipp got at least some of his teleports back, that would be great too.)
Will probably try it out in arcades before buying.
maybe
I want to impregnate that brat!
Depends on how much is improved when the next beta rolls around.
So, does she have big tits under that sweater or what?
>polish the UI more
They literally just changed the moving portraits but all other things that were massive problems are still there are they consider the UI done
>restore freedom to gatlings
This will not happen, they've already stated as such.
>Chipp getting any of his moves back
Bro they removed 80% of his kit why on earth would you think they would allow him to get even teleports back.
>try it in arcades
That thing that is dead everywhere that isn't japan and korea and is dying there?
Anyone actually thinking anything will change with how the dev backyards have been just blaming players for everything bad about fight games is a retard.
Take a chill pill, dude. I said "hope," not "expect."
yeah i just hope it doesnt die in EU
This and project L are the only fighting games I'm looking for.
Yeah, I really am, even if I don't like some of the changes (and UI is fucking trash)
In any case, I can always go back to play old games. I still play Isuka and Overture from time to time
i hope this "multi-player battle mode" plays like Isuka
I'm trying out +r for now. Fun and I love how much crazy shit the characters have, but I'm not really into classic fighting game inputs any more.
I'll probably get Strive but I hope they make some fairly significant tweaks, I'm not seeing something I'll want to put a ton of time into. I like a bit of buffer and mostly-universal bnbs in my old age.
Even if they don't before launch it'll probably get a big patch like DBFZ's season 3 that makes some huge system improvements.
I think DBFZ got away with being a basic, boring nothing game for so long purely because of there being no other tag fighter available for the longest time, and the name brand recognition. Strive is running on the assumption that any normie cares or knows about GG and has several extremely strong competitors like UNIEL, +R and all the other games now available through Parsec and rollback mods/updates.
I honestly see the game barely getting a season of support unless Daisuke really believes that normies will gravitate over time to a game a year after its release instead of just posting baiken porn on twitter.
I like her hat
>brat
I just found out after almost two decades, that she doesn't age and is far older than she looks.
But she does
I wouldn't say I'm excited, but I'll definitely be playing it. I hope it's good, but there are things about it that have me worried.
They've already said the last time they showed the UI it still wasn't finished. I haven't seen any blaming the players in the Developer's Backyard either, the worst responses they've given in the Developer's Backyard is when they say "We hear you, but we're still confident in this part of the game and not changing it." but even when they say that they don't blamethe players.
CHRUSTLER
no not even slightly its probably the first mainline gg I won't be getting
I only ever messed around with +R in training mode before, I'll be trying it online now that I finally have the opportunity of course, but I can't help but wish it had a buffer more like Xrd's. I'm sure I could get used to it with time, but right now it just makes the game feel unresponsive. Xrd's felt like a good balance of not being too lenient while still feeling good. Maybe I'm just biased because I'm used to it though.
Considering Xrd got support for years, I expect Strive to get the same. Idon't expect it be a success like DBFZ, but I don't think it needs to be a success on that level for them to continue supporting it.
I'm excited when I see the character reveals but man does hearing about the lobby system and match making kill my hype.
Watching newfags get excited about Strive is like seeing someone excited to ask out your ex
I'm fine with the removal of ranked. If they can make the lobbies functional, I'll be fine with them, they'll still be ugly, but I can live with that if I can easily play someone else, which you could not do in the beta.
>normies get to mash in strive
>hardcore oldfags get ac+r with ggpo
everybody won but xrd nerds
I’m not too excited, but I’ll play it. More looking forward to +R rollback.
Strive isn't mash friendly though.
gg has always been mash friendly, strive is the least mash friendly when the gutted gatlings.
Looking forward to maining this chic
I know this ain't GG but check this shit out. Official uni tourney that you can enter from the menu.
thats cool unichad, but when is that uzuki gonna get announced
Mouth too snall.
But mee too.
Probably next year.
Bridgette when?
Nope
Hype has dissipated
Shes a loli, what do you think?
Why's it called a beta tournament? And what region is it for? I haven't played UNI since cl-r came out.
>Shes a loli, what do you think?
I thought she was like 27 or some shit?
It's probably a beta since the game just updated to add a tourney mode. I imagine something will fuck up.
Also region is probably NA if I had to guess.
No baiken?
No Baiken.
Who actually plays her?
I almost never see anyone in GG lobbies play baiken
She's in her early 20s.
lolibaba is still loli
>like UNIEL
I love under night but let's not kid ourselves there's zero population outside of discord and it has some of the worst netcode out there with no plans for rollback
>ps4 only
god fucking damnit
It's a Sony run event, so it makes sense.
>Who actually plays her?
I was told there are two kinds of people who want Baiken in GG. Actual Baiken mains and people who don't really play Guilty Gear.
I can find online matches on ps4.
Only on PC is it a discord fighter
I don't get how to enter. I click on the thing and it takes me to a webpage that doesn't do anything.
