Which is better, Klonoa 1 or 2? Why is Crash sooooo much better than Spyro? Why do people dislike Ape Escape On the Loose? Why is m*rio fucking gay?

didn't play Klonoa 2, but after playing and finishing Door to phantomile the ending just fucked me up so I think it will always be better than any sequel for me
>he doesn't know
I keep on seeing Klonoa threads, but they die on sight. It hurts anons
I remember when I first played Klonoa 2. at first I thought it was just some kids game, but then I just kept playing. It got me thinking about death and the role of sadness in our lives man.

You really should give it a shot user.
Klonoa 2 is the better game gameplay wise.
Worth it to get the game running in PCSX2.
>I just kept playing. It got me thinking about death and the role of sadness in our lives man.
The Klonoa creator says that Klonoa 2 takes place in Klonoa's psyche as he is sorting out his emotions after the events that happened in Klonoa 1.
I didn't heard of this... I need some time to process this user

Where did you heard of this user?
From his Twitter. I can't find his tweet at the moment (Twitter won't even load for me right now to even begin searching for it). it was years ago that I read it. I think it was in his Klonoa Chronicles somewhere...
I don't even remember what happened in Klonoa 1
God, that makes it hurts so much more
:(
I emulated the ps1 version of klonoa a long time ago, and for a change of pace I was going to emulate the wii remake. how do people feel about the remake? I don't think I've ever really heard anyone talk it
It's not great.
the audio glitching at 8:25 is kind of kino
yes but why
It's just really ugly.
it's meh, there's alot of little grievances I have with the game the preventing it being a decent remake
They gave you 5 hearts instead of 3, making the game even easier. They made boss fights like Cursed Pamela easier (the pit in the middle is gone). Also they added a waggle move to stun enemies.
The audio mixing is god awful. The music during cutscenes is so loud. And, while the game does have Phantomilian voice overs instead of English voice overs, you can barely even hear the voices over the loud music.
And then there's the character models. They look uninspired and it's like they sucked the life out of the game.
Overall, a mediocre remake that nobody bought.
but of course it had to be a test if more klonoa games should be made
>They gave you 5 hearts instead of 3, making the game even easier. They made boss fights like Cursed Pamela easier (the pit in the middle is gone).
Fucking kek. Klonoa was always the poster-child in my mind of a way-too-easy game that still somehow manages to be good. I really don't understand why they'd do that.

It's ironic that an easy game series like Klonoa was made by the same person who made the NES Ninja Gaiden games.
It seems like his games are too easy or hard, but either way, memorable all the same.
Remember to drink some water Klonoabros
Don't worry wahoobro, I hydrate.
I drink all of the water. Don't want any kidney stones.
What an absolute kino game goddammit
