Monster Hunter Rise

Now that the console war shitposting has settled, what are Zig Forums's thoughts on MH Rise?

>arts
fucking dropped

it looks fun!

I want to see the Magnet Spike make a return

What, you don't like the artstyle user?

arts are fun to watch but it ruins the gameplay imo
I never used arts in generations and still was easy as fuck
we need a harder monster hunter please

It was just a pun mate, but I agree on the most part, but I do think that these wirebug moves are more closer to regular moves with actual strategic use than how mindless most arts where

Sad it's not coming to pc, I'll have to suffer through 540p 20fps

>arts
>mounting
>turf wars
>run healing
clutch claw 2.0
Dropped.

Looks fantastic. The only negative is that they seemingly made Potion healing even more lenient, but if it's true that running with an item out is gone and you only have a slow walk speed, that's a bit balanced out to be about as lenient as World.

Clutch & Wirebug both kind of give its whole thing of zipping you to the monster to every weapon so IB & Rise alike wouldn't really make it feel special. Without the magnetism it's just Switch Hammer.

Looks boring. Same as World. Same as every other one

Bait or not, Arts (or rather the 2-3 new moves that the Bug gives which is about equivalent to what every weapon got in IB anyway), Mounting (assuming the system is streamlined from World's, and it's likely given that they said it's reworked), and Turf Wars (also being expanded upon) are good things.

>arts mounting and turf wars are good
No, they aren't Especially not mounting. Mounting is intrinsically trash and the only way to improve it is to remove it from the games. turf wars are pointless filler that constantly interrupt hunts. I'm not talking about just having monsters attack each other, that’s fine, but I'm specifically talking about the cutscene tier fights. Arts are soo OP and make the games way too fucking easy. It probably won't be Gen tier bullshit but it still being there is concerning.

schizo?

I'm not liking the super weaboo ninja village, the wirebug and the dog and the really shitty flagship monster, but I do like all the other new monsters and that they're not just all wyvern/EDs, I'll just have to wait and see if if the game turns out good despite the setting

SIE SIND DAS ESSEN UND WIR SIND DIE JÄGER!

Does glaive still have the double jump and aerial baguette dive?

It's OK to shit on flashy attacks again because it's not world!

Oh no, he's retarded.

>liking arts
just play pong then

How much are nincucks going to seethe when they dont get world 2?

I think it's going to run like ass but I'm buying it anyways because it's going to be years before the next world game.

Whoever decided that 30fps is an acceptable target should be fired and then shot.

Yes.

It's like the classic monter hunter! just like what i always wanted thank you capcom

>Oh no, he's retarded
Is this some new underage meme?

arch.b4k.co/v/search/text/"Oh no, he's retarded."/

God, I hate zoomers so much. The most obnoxious and uncreative generation so far.

In my personal opinion I think that it's not out yet

>Oh no, he's retarded
Is not new at all user.

Damn you're mad as fuck bro how fat are you?

I'm personally disappointed that it is basically world-lite. It's weird but I much prefer the old style of intentionally restricting and slowing down the players movements. It makes for more entertaining bosses when I actually have to pay attention to what I'm doing instead of just zipping around slapping bugs for heals and running while healing. I'll still play it regardless but from what I've seen it probably won't be as good as genU in terms of gameplay.

maps look way less cluttered than World, which was an eyesore imo. UI is nicer too

looks great

New enough for 80% of these posts being very recent?

Zoomers are such fucking brainlets.

?

And you're a fucking retard because arts aren't coming back. A couple new attacks with the wire bug are not arts, retard.

I mean its not a new phrase dumbfuck.

It's just World but on the switch. Pass.

I wonder if the monster moves after the wirebug attaches you'll realign to be above them or dive at an angle. Seems weird to basically reanimate the IB dragoon dive otherwise.

Looks fun, hope it runs at a decent frame rate.

Anyone have webms of new moves with GS?

is it gonna be on PC?

Probably not but we're going to get the superior world 2 so its all good.

PC WHEN

Seems like an overall improvement over World, weapons seems like won't suffer the same design problem from world, already looking like it will have more variety in species, no mantles, no tenderize and wallbang with clutch claw, maps aren't cluttered and it looks like it has barely any slope or ledge, no shiny thing pointing you towards monsters or track gathering, village an guild split again so players at least have to try a little more instead of being carried,a shame that the healing system seems more like world and that infinite restock is still in, hopefully it won't have a abundance of Aoe or movement like some monsters in iceborne like Raging Brachy, AT Velk and Lunastra, looking foward to see what they will do with the equipment system and Deco/charm

>Worldbabs get their first taste of having to buy another system to follow the brand
And it's beautiful.

What the fuck are chinks doing?
m.bilibili.com/video/av329876093?zw

It's going to be easy as fuck and cookie cutter bullshit because Capcom is aiming for normies with it.
HOPEFULLY it means whatever replacement for World ends up hitting the older gens of difficulty as a counter but I don't think the difficulty drop in World was due to the basic design as much that the controls weren't absolute shit anymore.
