i think she has an ability to reduce enemy attack/movement speed by 30% and that will buy you more time to attack
if you dont have enough damage to keep the super armor off after you've dropped it the first time you are probably doing a difficulty thats too hard for you
the ability that enhances normal attacks boosts the damage of the shadows at the end of the combo and does the bulk of the damage- which you wont be able to do by doing hit and run attacks
try to do your normal attack combo at range and hit the enemy with the shadows as they approach
