I'm sorry for the blogpost, but this needs to be said. I've had this on my chest for awhile now, and I think it's time to share it because of how down-right vitriolic some of you have been towards Sony lately.

Zig Forums, you allowed them to stick their greedy imperialist hands all over the video games market. What we have now is what I like to call late-stage capitalism. You supported them when they introduced paid online, draconian DRM policies, GFWL, kinect, and RROD.
Nintendo? Sony? Valve? These are companies built from the ground-up by gamers, for gamers. I remember when I used to come home from a hard day at school because I was bullied for my brown skin. Do you know who was waiting for me when I got home? My PS3 and a copy of LittleBigPlanet. Sony was always there for me. Meanwhile, M$ is trying to take away all of my games by gobbling up mega-publishers like Bethesda and creating a digital-only hellscape with Xcloud and Gamepass.
We're coming to a point where there's no going back. Think about who you choose to support, Zig Forums. Is that gamepass subscription really worth it if you're helping to destroy all video games in the end?
It's not monopoly if it's only on console, gamepass can never control the PC market and ban games that aren't politically correct enough (assuming they grab every developer out there).

OH NO Microsoft is buying a video game development company and funding the development of their games to make those games available to anyone with a PC, phone, or Xbox (as well as Gamepass day 1). Meanwhile, if Microsoft hadn't bought that company, Sony would have tried to make deals with said company to ensure certain games are only available on the shitty PS5. Tell me again why what Microsoft is doing is wrong?
