Fighting games.
Even though I played MK9 several hours and could learn juggling and combos to finish the single player campaign on hardest I felt overwhelmed by learning every fighter's combos and counters.
Had fun in Injustice too but it was quite more simpler game

Seriously, I can do okay at pickup games with buddies but I get trounced in any sort of serious capacity. The only characters I can play well are the most unga of bungas like Bowser and DK. Even "braindead" stuff like Inkling's roller combos elude me, and 90% of the time I forget the shield and grab buttons even exist.
Oddly enough, though, I'm not terrible at traditional fightan. Used to play a lot of GGXX back in the day and did pretty well. It's just Smash that baffles me.

I'm bad at fps and rhythm games. Well, really I'm bad at all games, I'm just exceedingly bad at those two.

FPS games, which sucks because I really like them and every after thousands of hours of focused play I haven’t improved a single bit. Any increase in stats only comes from the knowledge of mechanics and routes not the actual gunplay itself

fighting games. I'm serviceable at rhythm games, but I'm a perfectionist in them so instead of playing all the songs I'll play one song for 10 hours trying to FC it then stop playing the game forever.
Fighting games though, I just have no redeeming qualities. I used to be bad at RTS when I was a kid, and stopped playing them because of it, I might stand a chance nowadays. I did try league of legends and did okay-ish in that (got to gold in season 1 when I played).

I wish I had more grand strat/strategy games that cater to my enjoyment of the ROTK period. I know of the actual ROTK games by KT, I play 13 more often than most people would think is sane (usually 30hr/wk) but there's not anything that really comes close. Ironically, I really like the simplicity of the mobile games where you 'build' a city and they try to extort money out of you, but I refuse to pay money and they usually end up walling you off with days and days of waiting at some point. I wish there was something like that that had a bigger meat to it in a single player environment. Or just a less p2w one, but I guess people don't really want that.
