Yoshi is already on it, not a belt or fuccboi to be seen

FFX2 unironically did fix it.
Retards got filtered by the intro and the girl power shit though.

The fix is already being worked on and it's called FFXVI

they made same mistake with edgy k-pop characters placed in boring realistic setting.

Yoship's final fantasy is derived and boring as fuck. It literally banks entirely on nostalgia.

We get an ice cream.

Bring back the job system

go suck dick somewhere else

1. The Literally Perfect Goddess needs to be louder, angrier and have access to a time machine
2. When the Literally Perfect Goddess isn't on-screen, everyone should be asking "Where's the Literally perfect Goddess?"
Gratuitous on-screen /ss/ between her and Hope

They're too obssessed with the past, and the games are just a perverse reconstruction of past successes. They need good writers, and they need to let go of a lot of the tropes that are iconic for the series. They can keep some of the past, but the passion and love that was so apparent in every corner of the older games is gone. They need to bring that back. It's clear to me that they've gotten greedy and lazy.

They're too big and famous and it shows. They need to be hungry again. If this is what domination looks like its' not pretty.

FFXV's weaker second half was basically an exposition dump from scattered texts and the villain gloating on the intercom in a linear fortress. Both modern tropes, and the visuals in the game were amazing. Their problem isn't being stuck in the past. They aren't Sega. Their problem is the feedback they seem to listen to has nothing to do with games. After all, their localization team seems to have free reign and their voice direction is absolute ass, almost as though they are giving their voice actors a free paycheck to read their lines in one take crosseyed and emotionless.

This.

I can see what you're saying, but it's kind of ironic that you mention SEGA. I'm not a sonic fan really, but they seem to put out good games pretty frequently. Out of all the old hat companies, they seem to have kept it together the best. Look at Konami and Capcom.

I can see what you're saying though.

Actually come to think of it, if VII remake shows anything it is that they don't understand what made their past great at all.

Let Nomura the Kingdom Hearts and nothing else.

It could always be worse.

Sega is great, but they have had their issues with undue nostalgia.

Let it go. The series is as dead as millenials cultural relevance now

>gen Z still think people care about them

you'll learn

You mean like 9? Based.

>blood bad

>not a fuccboi to be seen

Fuck you for reminding me of this abomination

Based
Cringe

Wasn't a ton of blood in the original, but there was a suspenseful sequence where you get captured by Shinra only to wake up to the aftermath of Sephiroth's carnage and find President Shinra shish kebab'd. It was kinda terrifying. In the remake the eerie suspense of that situation was thrown out the window so Barret could grandstand over Shinra before he died.
